Chapter 58

Jen walked over the parapet on the rooftop of the hospital building. It looked dangerous, but Jen looked so happy, hopping from one spot to another spot, waiting for Mew Davis to come to her.

Mew Davis rushed through the emergency stairs and finally arrived upstairs, to the rooftop. There, he saw Jen was waiting for him. Without thinking twice, Mew immediately closed the access door to the emergency staircase and blocked it with an iron bar that he happened to find nearby. God and Art who were locked inside, banged on the door with all their might, trying to open it, but it still didn't work. Right now they could only see Mew and Jen's shadow from the small window and hear their voices from the air outlet box above the door.

"Fuck!", God shouted in panic, "God! Think... come on... think..."

"P'God...! What should we do now? I'm so worried..."

"Shut up and let me think!", God replied in annoyance. "It's a good thing we could still see them from the small window. I'll try to call for help. Can you hear anything from the air outlet?"

"I barely could hear them talking. I'll try to climb up. Maybe I could hear them clearer..."

God paced frantically. Who should he call for help? The door was locked and moreover, Mew propped it up with an iron bar. If they had to wait for someone to open it up, Mew might have killed Jen first. God knows for sure what Mew might have done if he could not control himself anymore. Shawny...! Yes... maybe Shawny could help. His father is the owner of the hospital and he should know something that can help him, in any way.

God hurriedly took out his mobile phone and dialed Shawny's number.

"Yes?"

"Shawny? This is God. I need your help..."

"What happened?", the other person on the call asked calmly.

"Do you know any other way to go to the hospital rooftop without going through the emergency door?"

"Huh?"

"Come quickly! I'm on the top floor of the hospital building... emergency staircase... quick!"

"Okay! Fine! Fine! I'll be right there. Wait for me!"

"Jen! You bitch!", Mew yelled towards her.

She turned her gaze towards Mew and smiled, "P'Mew! Do you want to come here? The view is splendid from up here..."

Mew walked closer as Jen walked backward, inviting him to come. Was she crazy? Jen could see fire on Mew's eyes. The more she saw it, the more she felt excited. Why? Because finally, Mew could pay attention to her.

"Come down..."

Jen grinned and shook her head, "It's beautiful here..."

"Jen...", Mew calmed his town down, "Why did you do that?"

"Why did I do that?", Jen gave it a thought before she chuckled, "Will you look at me if I didn't do that?"

"Why did you kill innocent people? They did not deserve to die..."

"But it was worth it, wasn't it?", she smiled.

"You really deserve to die, Jen... you're despicable!", Mew raised his voice.

"Then just kill me, P'Mew!", Jen laughed, "Kill me with your own hand so that you know... I'm willing to die... just for you..."

"You're a crazy bitch!"
