Forever Mine

Chapter One

Hadin. 

I wake up with a pounding headache, my stomach in knots and a empty bottle for crown royal in my hand. I drop the bottle to the hard floor making a large bang noise that makes my head ache even harder. I sit up putting my head in my hands once I get my stomach back I reach over in my jeans on the ground grabbing my phone out of the pocket. No missed calls or texts. 

She left you. Stop thinking about her. Move on. I tell myself. I can't I'm hooked. Every time I close my eyes I see her. Her smile, her laugh, her everything. Why can't I just let her go. 

"Hadin?" A voice comes from behind me. Oh shit. I close my eyes not wanting to look back at the mistake I made. "What are you doing?" She asks. I turn around and see that Nina is in my bed naked. 

"Fuck." I mutter under my breath.  I stand up putting on my shorts and shirt. I turn towards Nina and toss her the dress on the floor by the bed. "Leave." I demand. 

She laughs. "Your kidding right?" She asks me. 

"No I'm not get out." I snap in a harsher voice. 

"Unbelievable. Your the one who came to me Hadin. I didn't go to you!" She yells at me. 

"Joys of being drunk you don't know what your doing." I snap at her. 

"Fuck you Hadin." Nina puts her dress on over her naked body and walks towards the door. "Just let me know how Sara takes this news." She smiles at me. 

"If you don't leave, I will throw you out that god damn door." I threaten her as she slams the door and leaves the room. I sit down on the bed trying to stop the pain in my head debating if I should take some Advil or drink more. What does it matter? I lost her. I walk over and put on my white shorts when there is a knock on my door. "I told you to fucking leave!" I yell as I answer the door to my surprise it's Ashlynn. "Oh hi." I smirk and then I notice her face. "What's wrong?" I ask her.

"It's Sara." Ashlynn cries to me.

"What about Sara?" I ask her.

"There was an accident." Ashlynn tells me.

And just like that I am grabbing my sneakers and a sweater. I am out the door running to my truck. Jace and Ashlynn are right behind me. They get into the truck and I drive off. She's not dead. God damn it Sara don't do this to me. Please.

"There!" Ashlynn points to the police cars in front of us. I throw my truck into park and I jump out of the truck. I can feel Ashlynn and Jace right behind me.

"Sara!" I scream. "Sara!" I yell running past all the officers to her SUV. As I approach the SUV I see that it is upside down and destroyed. I look at one of the officers. "Where is she?" I demand.

"There was no one in the car. We found her cell phone and purse." The officer tells me.

"What do you mean she wasn't in the car?" I hear Ashlynn demand an answer.

"Let me see her phone." I grab the bag away from the officer.

"Sir you can't do that! That's evidence." The officer shouts.

I throw my hand up in the air to silence him and walk towards Ashlynn and Jace. Jace stands between me and the newbie cop. I pull up her call logs and see an unknown number that called her at 8:03pm last night. "He called her." I tell Ashlynn.

"Oh god. No." Ashlynn starts to cry.

I turn to see skid marks on the road that aren't from the crash. These are separate. "Someone took her." I state.

"How do you know that?" The officer asks.

"Are you fucking serious? The skid marks aren't from her vehicle for one the tire pattern is to big and her skid marks show where she flipped over. These are different." I yell. "Fuck!" I scream as I kick the side of Sara's wrecked car.

"What do we do?" Ashlynn asks me.

How the fuck should I know? I just need to get her back. I need to know that she is safe. I pace the scene of the accident looking around for anything that may give me a clue as to who took her. Then I remember what happened before the wedding. All I see is red now. I race towards my truck. Jace and Ashlynn right behind me.

"Hadin slow down! What's going on?" Ashlynn screams.

"I need to get back to Farmington now." I tell them.

"What's in Farmington?" Jace asks me.

"The night before the wedding. Jessica showed up at the Inn and told me Connor was at the frat house raising the offer to two million dollars. He wanted someone else to get Sara and take her to him. I'm going to go knock some heads together and see if anyone took his god damn offer." I tell him.

"Okay drive us back to the Inn. We will follow right behind you." Jace tells me.

"Fine. Let's go." I demand as we all rush to my truck. I speed off towards the Loon Lodge Inn quickly to drop them off. After they get out of my truck. Jace walks to my window.

"Hadin, don't do anything stupid." Jace asks of me.

"I can't promise that Jace. See you at home." I tell him as I pull away I'm ready to murder someone right now.
