Forever Mine

Chapter Two

Sara.

I awake on a bed with a blanket over me. Look around and notice that I am in the bedroom of some house. I sit up and grab my head instantly. Oh god my head. I'm dizzy. I look around the room seeing a white vanity and bench, a wardrobe, another door to my left, a nightstand to my right with a white lamp and purple drapes around the windows. I move over towards my bed and go to stand when I fall to my knees.

"Don't move too fast. You'll pass back out again." Liam tells me. I look over to see him sitting in a chair by the door of the room. I try to jump up to my feet but fall onto my side again. "Like I said." Liam says as he walks over to me and offers to help me up.

"Get away from me." I scream.

"Don't be like that." Liam says.

"Don't be like that? Why am I here Liam? Why did you drug me to get me here?" I ask him.

"I think you already know that answer Sara." Liam says as he walks away from me. I reach up grabbing the bed frame and pull myself up.

"How much is he paying you and Maddie?" I ask him.

"3.4 million dollars." Liam tells me as he sits down in the chair again.

"You're fucking fools." I laugh. "Connor is a criminal who doesn't have money." I tell him. "Did he tell you why he wanted you to bring me to him?" I ask. Liam looks at me and smiles.

"I don't ask questions." Liam tells me.

"Well maybe you should. Connor was my abusive ex-boyfriend, from high school. He almost killed me multiple times while I was with him and now, he has been stalking me for the past seven years." I tell Liam and by the look on his face he had no idea. Good maybe he will let me go. "He's murdered people Liam, he's left a body trail ranging from Norway to oxford to jersey to new York and now another girl my age is missing from Farmington. He is going to kill me if you hand me over to him." I say calmly.

"Liam!" Maddie yells from down stairs.

"Liam please if he gets me." I pause closing my eyes." he's going to kill me." I open my eyes letting tears fall from my eyes. Liam freezes and goes to look at me.

"Liam Now!" Maddie screams.

"I'm sorry Sara. I'll be right back." Liam exits the room leaving the door open. I walk over to the door frame and look out to see Maddie and Liam on the stairs having a conversation.

"What the fuck do you think your doing? Don't fucking talk to her." Maddie demands

"Did Connor tell you why he was looking for her?" Liam asks Maddie.

"No of course not. I didn't think to ask either. That bitch is going to be given to Connor and we are going to get paid." Maddie tells Liam.

"What if he wants to kill her?" Liam asks her.

"So what. Maybe Hadin will see that she was just a phase if she does die." Maddie laughs. "I know your listening you don't have to pretend your not." Maddie looks at me.

"Please Maddie. You can't let him take me." I plead.

"I don't give two shits what happens to you Sara. He's offering money for you to be delivered to him. Like I'm going to pass on that." Maddie tells me. "Your free to walk around the house. You're not going anywhere the closest neighbor is twenty miles." Maddie tells me ask she walks away. I look at Liam.

"Liam please." I beg him.

"I'm sorry." Liam walks down the stairs as well. I look around at the upstairs trying to figure out if I can escape without them knowing. Even if I do. No one will hear me. As I walk down the stairs, I turn to my left to hear a pot's and pan's clacking together. I walk into the kitchen to see Maddie standing in the kitchen.

"Maddie." I say as I walk over to her.

"What do you want?" She snaps at me.

"I wanted to try and talk you out of doing this." I tell her standing on the opposite side of the island.

"I highly doubt your going to do that." Maddie laughs.

"Have you even seen half of the money that Connor's promising you?" I ask her. She rolls her eyes and turns towards the sink. "I'll take that as a no. Connor is a jobless criminal. He literally makes his way in life by making out fake credit card applications in different names." I tell her. "I know exactly what he plans to do once he has me." I tell her.

"Oh yeah what is that?" Maddie asks me.

"He is going to come, see that you have me and then when you and Liam go to collect your 'payment' he's going to kill you both. That's his M.O. He never keeps a promise to anyone." I tell her. I think I've caught her attention because she stops washing the dishes and takes a breath. "If this is about getting Hadin back, he and I aren't together." I tell her. Maddie slams down the dish in the sink and turns to me placing both her hands on the island

"I don't know what you think you might know about my relationship with Hadin but guess what I could get him anytime I wanted to. Even if he was still with you." Maddie snaps at me.

"Then why are you doing this?" I ask her. "If you can't answer that then just give my the keys to one of the god damn cars you have here and let me go. I won't press any charges. Please." I beg.

"Not going to happen." She tells me as she turns away back to the sink.

"Do you really think that Hadin isn't going to look for me? Have you thought of what is going to happen when he can't find me? When he can't track down you and your brother? You were all there when Connor raised the offer! He's not stupid." I snap at her. Maddie laughs and turns to me slowly. Maddie walks towards me. I stand up straighter.

"By the time he figures it out. Connor will have you and as for Liam and I we will disappear." Maddie leans in closer to me. "So good luck to him." Maddie winks at me. "Besides you should stop wasting your time pleading and begging with me and start practicing for when your boyfriend shows up." Maddie smiles and walks out of the kitchen. I stand there finally allowing the tears I've been holding back to fall from my face.

"Sara." Liam whispers behind me. I throw my head back and wipe my eyes.

"What do you want Liam?" I ask him.

"I'm sorry I had no idea." Liam apologizes.

"well I'm sorry isn't going to cut it. You kidnapped me and are literally handing me over to someone the police are looking for." I snap as I turn to him. "If your really sorry you'll help me get out of here. Please." I tell him.

"I can't Maddie-" Liam starts.

"Is Maddie the boss of you? Because I thought you were the boss of you. But what do I know if that's how you like to live your life. Go for it. But I will not go with Connor alive. I'd rather die." I tell him.

"Like I said. I'm sorry." Liam says looking at the ground as he turns and walks out of the kitchen.
