Chapter Twenty-Eight

Sara.

As I am getting ready to leave my office Damien is standing in my doorway. I look over at him and laugh.

Hadin is here. Why dont you go down and let him know Ill be down in a few moments? I tell him.

Of course, Maim. He agrees as he walks away from my office. I walk around my desk and bend down grabbing my coat from the floor where it fell.

Sara. Erick says behind me. I turn looking at him. I assume Lillian told you I was in charge. He states.

Yeah I got the email. I tell him.

I do need to discuss somethings with you. Erick states.

Sure. Can it wait until tomorrow? Im just on my way out. I tell him as he shuts the office door.

Itll only take a few moments. He states.

Okay. I smile Whats up? I ask him as he walks around to my desk leaning on it facing the window.

I just wanted to ask you a question. He starts.

Whats the question? I ask him.

Why him? He asks me. I did everything for you these past three months and you literally turn around and throw it all away. He begins.

Erick I know that what happened wasnt exactly what you had hoped it would have been between us. I whisper.

I would have taken care of you so much better than he ever will. He states. You made a big mistake. He tells me.

Im sorry. I whisper. Erick, why wont you look at me? I ask him as I walk towards him pulling his arm making him turn to me. As he turns my mouth drops open. I see the entire left side of his face with black and blue bruises and a large cut down the side of his face.

One side of his face will be bruised up for a while. Hadin states.

What side did you hit him on? I ask him.

The left side. Hadin states.

Sara. He states as he grabs my hand.

What happened to your face? I ask him. He pauses and looks down at the floor then back at me. Something in his eyes changed and it got dark. Evil almost.

I think you know what happened Sara. Erick states.

I turn trying to make a run for the door when I reach the doorknob turning it opening the door a inch, the door slams shut behind me and I can feel him behind me leaning up against my backside. I feel his breath on my neck.

Dont fucking run away from me Sara. He warns me as he turns me around to face him slamming me against the door. Im not going to hurt you. Erick whispers.

Then let me go. I whisper as his hand connects with the wall beside my head. I flinch.

I need to fucking talk to you! Erick yells at me.

There is nothing for us to talk about Erick. You tried to kill Hadin. I tell him.

He deserves to die. Hes still lying to you! Erick states.

Erick, I am asking you as a friend to let me go. I need you to let me leave. I whisper to him.

I can do everything he does but better. I can fuck you so much better than him. I can make you scream my name louder then you ever thought possible. You just never let me show you. He whispers as he places his face into my neck. Just let me. He states as his hand runs down my arm. Tears form my eyes as his hand reaches my wrist. Look down to see his foot right beside mine.
