pov Anna

i was walking to the commanders quarters when i went to knock i noticed that the room was unlocked so i entered only to not see him, but i heard the sound of a shower so i went towards it knocking on its door. i heard the sound of a lock opening and water moving.

commander Arc: come in.

i hesitated before opening the door to be met by the commanders back as he sat on the base of the shower water streaming over him. i also saw many scars as well as a large tattoo of the symbol he carries on his shield and many strange symbols followed by what looked like dates. the only thing i could read properly was a chant that read ''lo there do i see the emperor, lo there do i see Dorn and my brothers. lo, there i see the line of warriors back to the beginning. lo, there do the call, they bid me take my place among them in the hall. where the brave may live forever''

commander Arc: what is it?

Anna: the techpriest wanted to see you, as well as this.

i gave him a pamphlet that read something about a church of eight that was seeking followers.

Anna: captain Jade thought it was important to have you see it.

commander Arc: give this to the commissar and tell him he has a greenlit for a cleansing op.

Jaune pov

i walked through a hanger as i saw my troops being drilled and trained by the few imperials i have. i saw Sam forcing ten men in equipment to do push-ups while sometimes stepping on their back adding extra weight. her armour was now covered in the bones of the tau and a plastic cast of his skull on her shoulder after the fall of beacon she wanted to become a Vigilant so she trained her medical skill among Atlassian doctors and surgeons as well as her faith trained and tested by the sister. these men she was training would also become Vigilants. 

i saw my bullhead land before i entered it. i took ten minutes to get to the forge as i walked in i heard and saw machinery working on making vehicles and weapons, as i was being approached by the techpriest his mechadentriates where carrying datapads and the like while his red robe flowed after him, his face fully mechanical or at least no flesh visible. as he started talking his voice was of an older man past his prime but he had a firm conviction it still his mask added a metallic clang to it as well.

Merl: lord commander good to see you.

Jaune: you may skip the formalities, Merl. i know techpriest don't care for them.

Merl: good i wanted to inform you of the prototype and vehicle status of we are producing.

Jaune: let's start with the prototypes.

Merl: the lasguns can be replicated on Remnant but the dust ammo they will use will create weaker charges.

Jaune: how much weaker?

Merl: unlike the 20-megajoule power output of a regular lasgun the prototypes come in at a low 3 to 5-megajoule power output, depending on the used dust type but they can use different dust types to use their effects. as for the melee weapons, the power sword will not be able to be made. but the chainsword is easy to make and deploy at full strength.
