Again, I was lost for words. Lucas was my father?! It just couldn't be...

"Olga, you really didn't have to..." Lucas tried to interject.
"Oh, but I did, Oleksandr. My daughter had to find out the truth someday."
"But how? Aren't you like twice her age, Lucas?" I gasped, still shaken.
"That's a bit rude, isn't it!" Lucas snapped, "but yes, it's true. I'm not British like I claim to be. I'm as Russian as Olga is. And the father you know as 'Alexander Maddison' is actually called Lucas. We basically just swapped identities. Funny, isn't it?"
"Um, no! It's not really something you can call funny!" I screamed, "why have I only just learned this now?"
"Because you never came to Denmark until now. I moved here for the plan to work... I betrayed your mother because I thought she wasn't capable of raising you. She was in a huge dispute with the Russian government at the time, and I was so scared that you would get involved... so I decided to give you to your father, and told him to swap identities with me so that you could be safe, and he did. He loved you just as if you were his won daughter too..." Lucas continued, "Olga could never leave Russia because of her fights with the government, but I knew the company she was with had a base in Denmark. And I let her believe that your father stole you away from us... that's why you might have seen his face on some sort of hit list."

"I really don't know what to say to that..." I said quietly, "where do we go from this?"
"I'll tell you where we go from this!" Andreas spoke up, "you tell me where me and Robert come into this! Why did you make us get involved?"
"That was actually me," Lucas answered, "I did that whilst the company thought I was working for them. I made you do those things so it made me look like I was trying to break up Robyn and Viktor."
"Excuse me, what?!" Viktor shouted, "why would they want to break us up?"
"Because you're getting in the way!" My mother yelled, slamming her fists onto the table. The force knocked over several drinks on the table. "Don't you see? I'm trying to get Robyn to come back to Russia with me, where she belongs! And you two being together would only complicate things!"
"Well, good luck with that. Because I'm not going anywhere." I said, then held Viktor's arm. "You're not breaking us up."

"Oh, I think you'll find I can. You just signed that contract, you stupid girl!" My mother shouted.
"I'm literally 18 years old, you mad cow! I'm 19 next week, that means I don't have to do anything you say."
"Except it does in Russia! I've worked hard the last few years to change the law in my favour... and let's just say that a few nights with some ambassadors worked." She had this creepy smile that I couldn't take my eyes off... "and you're now legally answerable to me until you're 19!"
"But this isn't Russia, right? I thought we were in Aalborg!" Robert said, standing up to take a look out of the window.
"I really worry about that boy sometimes..." Andreas uttered under his breath, walking over towards Robert.
"This time, he actually has a point though. Robyn's not in Russia, so the law doesn't apply." Lucas said, with a troubled look on his face.

"That's why we're going to make the law apply to her. She's going to Russia. Now." My mother then clapped her hands, and some large men came running into the room, and grabbed me and Viktor from behind.
