"Okay, now you're just crazy," Viktor remarked. "There's no way I'm letting you go to Russia to get involved in some conspiracy!"
"But I have to! What if Lucas needs support? What if I'm the only one who can stop it? And what if Lara can help too?"
"You're not thinking straight, Robyn! This is out of your hands now."
"But what if it isn't, Viktor? We'll never be able to live in peace until this is all over."
Viktor fell silent.
"I know you're scared, and I am too, but I've got to know that this is all over. It's not fair for me to drag you in any further into this mess... I'll go and you can stay and live your life as normal."
"No! I can't let you leave me like that... what if you never come back?"
"I promise I'll come back! There's no way that I'd never come back to you..."
"I can't let you go alone..."
"I'll take Lara, I think she'll be able to guide me. Please, just do this one thing for me... don't worry."
I saw a tear form in Viktor's eye.
"You know I'll worry all the time... but I guess I'm powerless to stop you. If you think you need to go, I can't stand in your way..."
We then both burst into tears, and consoled eachother until we fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up early and booked a flight for me and Lara to Russia for the next day. I told Lara (through google translate) that we were going back to Russia, and she said that it was really dangerous, but that was actually why she tried to find me.

"We must go to Russia together and close down the company. Then we will be free."

I then bought Lara some fresh clothes from a shop around the corner, and packed a suitcase with help from Viktor.
"I'm giving you an extra phone to use, in case yours gets stolen. Keep it safe and I'll only be a phone call away."
"Thank you, I promise I'll call you whenever something happens."
"You'd better, or I'll constantly be worried sick."

The day of the flight came around very quickly, and Lara and I were on our way to Russia. We boarded our flight without any problems (luckily Lara had managed to find a passport) and arrived in St Petersburg.
Lara directed me to the place where we would be staying. It was a small, traditional B&B type place with a friendly male owner.

The man spoke a bit of English, and managed to tell me that he had known Lara from when she was a small child, and was happy to let us stay here for however long we needed. I thanked him, and put our stuff in our allocated room. It was pretty small, and had pretty much nothing else apart from a double bed, but it would suffice.

Because we got an early flight, we still had plenty of time to go into the city and have a look at where we would attempt to infiltrate the company at night.

Lara directed me to a tall building in the city centre with lots of windows. She simply pointed and whispered "mother." I nodded to tell her I understood, and used google translate to ask her about the plan.

"The plan is simple. I stole some ID cards from the building before I left to find you. We will enter from the back at 10pm, and go to the top floor. Our mother will still be there, and we will deal with her then."
