"THEREFORE, the equation must past through the points (0,3), proving that 3 is the y intercept. Any questions on what we just covered?" Mr. Rogers blurted out, scanning the room for puzzled students– which to be quite frank– were all his students. Kenzie stared at the whiteboard, unable to comprehend anything while Joshua neatly took notes with an understanding of it all.

"But like, why are there two lines crossing each other?" Lilia asked in confusion. Joshua groaned in his seat, containing his frustration.

"Does she really not know what a fucking x and y axis is?" Joshua whispered to Kenzie. As Mr. Rogers attempted the impossible– teaching Lilia Buckingham geometry– the class dispursed into discussion.

"So Lex, word on the street is that you and Johnny Orlando are talking... How's Ashton going to handle that one?" A girl asked Lexi, gaining the attention of the entire room minus Lilia and Mr. Rogers.

"First of all, I don't give two shits about what Ashdick wants. He shouldn't even be allowed to be on the football team, even more so the quarterback. But whateves. The school is too scared to expel his ass after what he did to Kenzie last year," Lexi declared, causing everyone's attention to transfer to Kenzie.

"It's not really a big deal," Kenzie sighed. In the past year, she had to repeat the story over a hundred times about how her and Ashton used to be best friends until he hit her. She didn't find the story interesting– yeah, he left a bruise on her arm but that was it. Apparently though, everyone else thought it was the most interesting story since they were captivated by Lexi's descriptions of it.

"It is too a big deal Kenz. If he did it to me, he'd probably be in jail right now." Lexi smirked, flipping her brown hair to one side of her head.

"He's literally 17, he can't legally go to jail," Joshua rolled his eyes.

"I'm positive my dad could make new arrangements," Lexi responded to Joshua, classically mentioning her rich father who worked in the government. "And about Johnny, he's hot but he needs to want me more. If he spices it up a little, he has my full attention. But as of now, I'm not off the market. Doesn't mean I'm not going to flirt a little at the game with him," Lexi giggled.

"Do you really love having everyone know your business?" Joshua said with sarcasm, pointing at the several kids not taking their focus off of Lexi.

"It comes out anyways, why let someone else have the fun of sharing my story?" Lexi answered. To this, Joshua had no response as he looked at Kenzie hopelessly.

"Okay class, let's continue," Mr. Rogers exclaimed. As he turned to the board, the bell suddenly rang.

"Sorry," Lilia shrugged.
