"NICE JOB TODAY," Lauren smiled as her and Johnny climbed into his scarlet convertible. "I'm so proud of you bro," 

"I didn't really do anything Laur," Johnny rolled his eyes. Both Lauren and Johnny knew this wasn't true– Johnny carried the pep rally just like he'd carry tomorrow's game. 

"Aren't you supposed to be celebrating with Asher or Hayden right now?" Lauren asked, pointing afar to the group of football boys chugging beer cans behind the football field. 

"Gotta energize in a smart way," Johnny shook his head, driving the car in the opposite direction to take him and his sister home. 

"So, I'm assuming I'm going to see this jersey on Lexi tomorrow, right?" Lauren smirked, only bothering Johnny more. After ignoring Lauren's various comments, Lauren continued questioning him. 

"Nadia and I think you'd be cuter with that Tiktok girl," Lauren said again, poking Johnny with her nails.

"Huh?" Johnny asked, half paying attention to Lauren.

"You know, the West Angles one! I heard a rumor that she was yelling the hell out of Ashton today because he was saying stuff about you," Lauren said. "Guess she likes you," Lauren shrugged. 

"Is that actually true?" Johnny suddenly spoke up, scratching his head. 

"Oh, look who wants to talk now," Lauren smiled devilishly. 

"Answer the question." Johnny glared at Lauren, anxiously tapping his phone. 

"Obviously. Nadia's cousin Eden is a cheerleader there. She heard it," Lauren crossed her arms. 

"We're here," Johnny hit the break, putting the car into park. Following Lauren, he ran into his house, immediately grabbing his phone.
