〉 Ben
I arrive at the Takodana Castle. Maz sent me a transmission. She said that she needed help and I can't say no to that.
I breathe in before walking inside the castle. I try to spot Maz in the crowded area. When I saw her, I quickly walk to her.
"Maz!" I smile to her and she looks at me. "Ben Solo! How are you my boy?" she asks and I reply, "Doing great than ever. What do need help from?" "Just sit on the table there. I will tell it to you in a minute," she states before leaving me alone. I walk to the table at the corner and wait for her.
"Han Solo!" I suddenly hear Maz's loud voice. The music stops all people stare in one direction. I look at where they are looking at. I see my father with a girl, a guy and a droid. "Dad? What is he doing here?" I wonder. "Hey Maz!" he greets and I shake my head. What does he want?
Maz walks to Han. They talk about something before walking to my direction. "Son?" Han says in surprise and I smile at him. "Hey dad!" I greet as I stand from my seat. He embraces me and whispers, "I miss you." "I miss you too dad," I answer him.
"What are you doing here?" I ask him as we sit down the table. "Beep beep boop (I have the map to Luke Skywalker)," the droid beeps. "A map to Skywalker himself?" Maz says before laughing to dad, "You are right back in the mess."
"Maz, I need you to get this droid to Leia," Han says desperately. "Hmm... No," Maz answers. "You been running away from this fight for too long. Han, go home," she explains. "Dad, Maz is right. It's time to go home," I tell to him. "Leia doesn't want to see me," father says and I groan, "You are like a child." "Ha! I like you Ben Solo," Maz says.
The girl and the guy looks at me in shock. "You're Ben Solo!" she exclaims. "The Ben Solo!" he says and I laugh at them. "Nice to meet you both. I'm Ben Solo," I tell them. "I am Rey," the girl introduces herself and so did the guy, "I am Finn." "Beep boop (I am BB-8)," the droid adds.
"But what fight are you talking about?" Rey asks. "The only fight against the dark side. Through the ages, I see evil take many forms. The Sith. The Empire. Today, it is the First Order. Their shadow are spreading across the galaxy. We must face them. Fight them! All of us," Maz says.
"There is no fight against the First Order. Not one we can win. Look around. There's no chance we haven't been recognize already. I bet you the First Order are on thier way right -" Finn gets interrupted by Maz adjusting her glasses. "What's this? What are you doing?" he asks.
Maz climbs up the table and Finn asks, "Solo, what is she doing?" "I don't know but it ain't good," dad answers.
"If you live long enough, you see the same eyes in different people. I'm looking at the eyes of a man who wants to run," Maz tells this guy. Finn leans in and says, "You don't know a thing about me. Where I'm from. What I've seen. You don't know the First Order like I do. They'll slaughter us. We all need to run." "Hmm," Maz simply says.
"You see those two," she points at two aliens. "They will trade transportation to the outer rim. There you can disappear," Maz says. "Finn!" Rey exclaims. "Come with me," he whispers to her. "What about BB-8. We're not done yet. We have to get him to your base," she says. "Boop boop (She is right)," BB-8 boops. "I can't," he says and stands up.
He gives back dad's blaster. "Keep it kid," dad says before Finn leaves. Rey looks at us before following Finn.
Suddenly, I hear voices whispering. "I have to go for a minute," I tell father and Maz and they nod in understandment.
I walk down to this staircase. I see a case at the end. I slowly walk to it as I hear these voices. I open the case and it reveals a lightsaber. I touch it and it reveals a vision. A vision of the First Order, my childhood and Uncle Luke's temple.
I let it go and Maz comes running to me. "Why do you have it?" I ask her. "That lightsaber belongs to Luke and his father before him. And now... it calls to you," she says happily. "Why do you have it?" I demand an answer.
"I am no Jedi, but I know the Force. It moves through and surrounds every living thing. Close your eyes... Feel it... The light... it's always been there. It will guide you. The saber. Take it," she says. I look at the lightsaber again. I take it. "Thank you Maz," I tell her and she smiles to me.
Suddenly, the castle rumbles. I see dad, Chewie, and Finn running to me. "Where did you get that?" dad asks me as he saw the lightsaber in my hand. "A good question for another time. Go and leave this place," Maz says pushing us away. I look at dad and he nods.
We begin to run away.
