Chapter 8

Kendall P.O.V

I hissed as the morning rays struck my weak and tired eyes. I regret staying up so late yesterday. But couldn't help myself I was actually having...fun. My pack accepted me and after running through the forest we had an afterparty and it was safe to say it got pretty crazy.

Before the party Lucas had told me we were to begin my training today since we needed to start immediately. Yay. I would have to be training with the other elite members today at 9:30.

I glanced at the clock to see that it was only 8:30 just enough time to get ready but... It's so early.

I lazily got up from my very comfortable bed which I had planned to stay in while watching The Walking Dead (My favorite show!!) But you know Training is first blah blah.

Walking or stumbling to the bathroom I emptied my bladder and glanced at the mirror. Obviously my body just decided to just give up. Makeup was smudged against my eyelids and my hair was knotted and just the complete opposite as it had been yesterday.

I switched the shower on and adjusted it to the perfect temperature before leaping into the steaming heaven. My stiff muscles instantly relaxed as I began to wash my hair and body.

A knock at the door of my bathroom interrupted me from shaving my legs.

"I'll be right there." I called while shutting the water, drying myself off and wrapping my body in a navy blue towel. My hair was dripping leaving a wet trail to the door.

I opened the door to reveal Greyson as he leaned against the doorframe of the bathroom. To be completely honest he looked really hot.

Not as hot as A-

Don't you dare say it or I will slap you Lily. I growled at her which seemed to make her finally shut her snout.

He looked me up and down until meeting m gaze once again. His eyes were dark with lust which caused me to raise a eyebrow at him.

"Uhh L-Lacey wanted me to give you something to wear for the um- training." He sheepishly commented while scratching the back of his neck and avoiding my gaze.

He handed me a change of clothing and I smiled in appreciation.

"Thanks." I gleamed and I shut the door once more. I extended the wrap of clothing to see a black tanktop with grey yoga pants. Obviously Lacey had to add a black bra with a matching thong. I chuckled and rolled my eyes at her weirdness.

I exited the steaming bathroom while drying my now tamed blonde hair. I grabbed my brush and got all the knots out. Soon I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and began working on some light makeup.

Kendall we are waiting outside let's go.

I kicked on my shoes and ran down the stairs and into the backyard where Lucas had said the trainings were to been held. There stood Cory, Greyson, Lacey, and Samantha stretching on the grassy field. Along with them were two other people. A girl with brown long hair was chatting to the girls while the tall and tan boy talked to the twins.

I shyly approached them and blushed severely when no one noticed me standing there.

"Kenny! Nicole,Carlos get over here and meet Kendall. She's shy so don't be weird and freak her out." Samantha squealed. She tackled me into a hug and I kindly smiled back.

"Heyy! So you are the famous Kendall huh? Damn girl you are stunning. Anyways my name is Nicole but call me Nikki please." Nicole or Nikki kindly greeted before pulling me into a hug which I gladly returned. Her gleaming smile was contagious and I couldn't stop the grin from spreading on my face.

"My name's Carlos. Its nice to meet you Kendall." Carlos politely said while shaking my hand and placing a soft kiss on it which seemed to make my cheeks ignite.

"Okay kids Now drop and give me twenty! Just kidding fourty push ups , 65 crunches, and 34 round house kicks. Now when your done with your warm up tweny laps around the pack house." Lucas demanded. My eyes popped. THATS THE WARM UP. Jesus thats more exercise than I do in a day.

We all began doing our torturous assignment and started our first official training for the elite warriors.

45 minutes later..

I collapsed on the floor alonside the other 5 members as I panted, trying to regain my breath. My throat felt like a scorpion had began nesting in it. We finished not more than a quarter of the work given to us and I felt like dying already.

Lucas wanted to push us to our ultimate end so we could become the strongest. But right now I felt like my legs were going to fall out entirely from my body.

"Lucas. Why do we even have to train in our human form if we are going to be fighting in our wolf forms?" Nicole panted as she poured the water Lucas had given us all over her head. He chuckled at her overreactiveness and gave her a stern look.

"We train your human selves because if your human is weak your wolf will as well be weak." He simply replied before demanding us to begin my most dreaded exercise...suicide runs. I cried out when the two simple words left his mouth.

I began running, stopping touching the ground, and then returning to where I had began. I ran again farther this time, then ran back. This is insanely hard and tiring especially when you do seventeen rounds of this tortureous workout.

After a couple of minutes I finished third after Greyson and Carlos. I smiled proudly at myself and drank the remaining water droplets of the cool drink.

"Ok I think thats enough for today. So everyday sme place same time. Execept now training will be longer." Lucas smirked sucessfully at our bewildered faces.

"BUT. I don't want a whole bunch of smelly dogs in the house so shift and clean yourselves up by the pond." Lucas added. Lily wagged her tail and barked in utter joy. She loved to be let out.

I shififted behind a tree and waited for the rest of my new friends to come along with me. While we were training., I got closer to everyone. We helped each other out and gave each other tips on how to improve our skills. Overall it was really fun and I couldn't wait to get closer to my new family.

A small white wolf approached me and I recognized it as Nicole. She grinned and barked. I barked back and chased her. Two grey colored wolves and a sandy blonde one stared at us while shaking their huge heads. I snuffled and trotted over to them.

What? Why are you guys staring at me like that? I asked looking into their eyes.

Your wolf is beautiful. Cory sighed while Greyson rolled his eyes.

I tried to laugh but it sounded like a snorting sound. I licked his ear in appreciation and waited for Lacey and Sam. Soon enough a striped wolf and a brown one came trotting over to us. I looked at all the wolves before sprinting into the pond.

With a big splash! All six of us had plunged into the water. We played and wrested with each other until the sun began to go down.

Whew! What a day. I think I'm going to turn in for the night. Ciao Carlos dismissed while shaking all the water from his now dark brown looking fur. After Carlos left we all soon grew tired and as well returned into the pack house.

I shifted back with my clothes on like always and charged towards my room. But before that I hugged everyone and said goodnight to them. With sore muscles and tired droopy eyes I fell asleep watching Family Guy reruns. Yup life like this couldn't
