Chapter 2

Alpha Alec's P.O.V

I woke up to the sun peering through my window and the annoying birds outside. "Ugh" I groaned as i got up from bed into the shower. I rinsed all the grime and dirt from my skin and changed into my usual black shirt and dark blue jeans.

Fixing my raven black hair, i decided to leave it like the messy mop it is. I smirked in the mirror finalizing my looks. Today was my 18 birthday. When i find my mate I wil finally take the Alpha position I have been training for since i was a child.

"My baby boy! Happy birthday! I hope you have the best and you'll find your mate soon." My mom squealed while placing my favorite food on the table.

"Son. Happy birthday. If you find mate today,I will step down and give you the role as alpha." My dad explained he grinned and ruffled my hair. "I'm proud of you son." He whispered in my ear while kissing my forehead.

"Thank you mum and dad. I hope I do find my mate though. I will gladly lead this pack. I love you both." I answered while devouring my pancakes and bacon.

I only sleep in the alphas house. I do everything else in the pack house with all the unmated males and females.

"Bye mum thanks for the amazing breakfast. Bye dad." I called from the front door. I got into my silver BMW I got last year and drove to the pack house pick up My best friend and future Beta, Ashton. I waited outside for 5 minutes. School started in 15 minutes and he wasn't here. Another detention and Mr. Zeledon will bite my ass.

Just as I was going to pull out of the driveway he walked out and ran to the car.

"Sorry I'm late. Got some business to take care of." He apologized. His forehead has beads of sweat and his hands were white.

"Like what?" I asked curious as to why he was sweating. I pulled out if the driveway and sped down the road.

"Um well Kendall woke up late and we barely had time to eat. So I uh had to deal with her." He explained

A shiver went down my back. "Oh ok." I answered. " I forgot. happy birthday!" He congratulated me and I thanked him.

"So eh there's a chance you might find your mate today?" He said while raising his eyebrows in amusement.

"Yeah." To say I was nervous was an understatement. Every turn to the school my stomach turned into knots.

"It's most likely Khloe so you don't have anything to worry about anything." He reassured me. I smiled in appreciation. Khloe and I had been dating for 9 months and it was going.. Well. I parked my car in its usual spot and soon it was surrounded by pack members and humans. Everyone wished me a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday Alec." Khloe purred before attacking my lips with hers. Growls and sighs were heard around me.
No not our mate. My wolf sighed. I agree if I wanted a mate I had to break up with Khloe.

I released Khloe's mouth and strided to the corridors of the school. I opened the doors to be hit with the most breath taking scent. It smelt like mint, chocolate, strawberry, honey, and a twist of cinnamon. I searched all around the corridors for the source of the scent. Walking to the end of the hallway the scent just kept on getting stronger. The hallways were nearly empty except for a figure in the corner.

I walked up to the she wolf and the scent was at it's strongest. The goddess in front of me was just- just so beautiful even though i couldn't see her face. I adored her back side. Her long honey blonde hair looked so soft i just wanted to run my hands through it and her body. Oh god don't get me started on her body. She had curves in all the right places. My eyes scanned her up and down. She had the most sexy long legs and the smallest frame.
