Ch. 46 Jealously

Megan POV
That date with Tony was so amazing. I can't get over what he did. This is definitely something different that's not him, but he did it so well.
Bailey and I were able to get everything booked and ready for David's surprise birthday party. Bailey made it a plan to where she's gonna have David thinking they are just going out for a date night, but it's actually to his surprise birthday party.
Right now, I'm on my way to do a interview for InStyle magazine. They are wanting to interview me on my music, my style, and a bit about my personal life. I had Jane to make sure that they don't ask about my love life at all and what happened with me at Jet Records.
I arrive to the building and go meet with everyone.

Sammy: So what we are gonna do is just do a simple interview about you. Nothing too complicated. This is gonna be recorded as well to help our writers a bit just in case I missed something.
Megan: Great.

Sammy turns on her recorder to start the interview.

Sammy: Interview with Megan Campbell-Thomas for InStyle magazine. So Megan, we all know you for your amazing music. You have done so far a great amount of songs, what made you want do music?
Megan: Growing up I've always loved singing. It's just a gift that I have. When I was 2 years old my parents noticed how much I loved music. They taught me how to play the piano and guitar. I was able to pick it up super quick at a young age. The singing came on it's own. My dad claims I got it from my grandma.
Sammy: That's amazing.
Megan: I know. What really got me in love with music was when my parents took me to a Mariah Carey concert.
Sammy: How was it?
Megan: It was so much fun. It was my first concert I ever went to. I grew up listening to her, Whitney Houston, Tammi Terrell, and so many others. As I got older I began to listen to Adele, Alicia Keys, and Ariana Grande.
Sammy: Great. We would like to know is what would you be if you weren't an artist?
Megan: I would still be a fitness trainer. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degrees in exercise science and physical education. I'm certified trainer and everything.
Sammy: Funny you mention that because we see on Instagram how amazing you look. Your body is what every woman wants. What's the secret?
Megan: Hahahaha. Honestly, I just maintain. I workout everyday. I'll either run around the neighborhood or just workout in my home gym. People on social media do think that I'm my body is really, but it is. A lot goes into this.
Sammy: Well your body is snatched to the max.
Megan: Thank you.

Sammy asked me more questions about myself and she is really enjoying every minute of it. She is shocked about all these things about me. After an hour we were done.

Sammy: This has by far without a doubt the best interview I've done. I think this will be the best one yet.
Megan: I can't wait.
Sammy: So we want to schedule a photoshoot for the magazine if that's okay.
Megan: That's perfect.
Sammy: I'll contact Jane with more information about it and she'll let you know.
Megan: Sounds fine to me.

As I'm heading home, I stop to make a few errands. My first stop is Target. I need to get a few groceries and some other things. I get a cart and began to get my stuff. Thankfully I didn't dress up when I went in for the interview today because if I did and I came here it would have been madness. I'm wearing something comfy and casual.
After I made my stops, I head home. Also Bailey, Laura, and Matt come by for all of us spend some time together. I finished unloading and putting up everything I hear my door bell ring. I answer it and it's Jane. I invited her in and we go in the kitchen where everybody is at.

Megan: Hi Jane.
Jane: Hey Meg. How are you?
Megan: I'm doing good. What about you?
Jane: I'm doing great.
Megan: What's up?
Jane: So I just received some very exciting news that you won't believe. I had to come tell you in person.
Megan: Oh okay. What is it?
Jane: I don't know if you were paying any attention to the music world news or not, but they have announced the Grammy Nominations. You have been nominated for three Grammy Awards.

My mouth fell to the floor. I can't believe this. Me nominated for not just one, but three Grammy awards.

Megan: Oh my God!! Are you serious?
Jane: Yep. It's says you and Tony are nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Dreaming Of The City Lights. For you alone you are nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album for your album On Top Of The World.

I began to cry tears of joy. It's hard for me to believe this. Laura, Matt, and Bailey hug me.

Laura: Congratulations Meg.
Matt: You deserve this.
Bailey: I'm so proud of you.
Megan: I can't believe it.
Jane: Believe it. This is a very big deal.

We all celebrated my nominations for the Grammys. It still blows my mind.

Julia POV
I need to find a way to bring the Carter Family. The way they have treated me is so wrong. They need to pay. Plus, I hate that girl Megan for taking everything from me.
I turn on my TV and Hollywood Insider is on.

Nora: Grammy Nominations have been announced. Our focus is on Megan who is impressively nominated for three Grammys. She is nominated with Tony Carter for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Dreaming Of The City Lights. She is also nominated by herself for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album for her album On Top Of The World. She posted on her Instagram saying: "I can't believe that I'm nominated for three Grammys. I'm in such a shock right now. This is a huge blessing for me." I can't lie, we are very proud and impressed by her. Hope she wins these nominations.

No!!! No!! No!! This can't be happening!! This bitch!! I need to take matters into my own hands.
Megan and the Carter family beware I'm coming for you.
