Ch. 18 Preparing

Nora: The famous Tony Carter dropped a brand new single yesterday without no one knowing and has his fans loving it. The single is called Dreaming of The City Lights featuring an unknown artist named Megan Campbell-Thomas. The music video currently has over 70 million views within 24 hours and is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. We were only able to find out a little bit about Megan. Turns out she's an uprising artist who is excited about making music. She is set to release her first debut album very soon. We were also told that she is going to be going on tour with Tony as an opening act. As always, we had to do our little investigation. After doing some research, turns out Megan is the woman who was with Tony when we spotted him with a mystery woman for lunch. Could these two be in a relationship? Who knows? They are both expected to perform at the Billboard Music Awards this weekend. Tony is nominated for 2 awards. Male Artist of the Year and Top-Selling Hot 100 Song of the Year. We will get to see and meet Megan for the first time since her music video debut.

Megan POV
I'm so happy and proud of the success of the song. I can't believe how many people love it. Plus, my phone has blown up like crazy. My instagram followers went from 700 followers to 500,000 followers. As well as my Twitter 500 followers to 250,000 followers. That is gonna take some getting used too. So now I have fans.
Anyway, Tony and I have been rehearsing for our performance for the Billboard Music Awards. We got it down pat.
As for Carson and I, we have been going out on dates even more now. I'm really starting to like him a lot. He treats me right. He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet. But I hope he does. Is Tony still jealous? Yep. Anytime I'm around Tony and we are working and I get a call or a text from Carson he gets jealous and he gags. I ignore it. Carson does make me smile.
So now it's the weekend of the Billboard Music Awards. Bailey is taking me to get our dresses. Yes Bailey is coming. Why? She's my best friend and I love her. She's my wing-lady.

Bailey: Okay, are you ready to see your outfit?
Megan: Yes!!
Bailey: Close your eyes.

I close my eyes. I honestly can't wait to see what my dress looks like. Bailey was able to find me an amazing designer to design my outfit.

Bailey: Okay....open your eyes.

I open my eyes and I'm shook.

Megan: Oh my God!!! It is beautiful!!
Bailey: I know right. I love the details. I know for a fact this will rock the red carpet for you honey.
Megan: Hahahahaha. Let's hope. Let's see your dress.

Bailey brings out her dress and it's gorgeous.

Megan: We are going to be a couple of hot ladies at the Billboards.
Bailey: Hell yeah.

The next day I had to do a quick sound check for the Billboards which didn't take very long. After that I went to the hotel that I'm staying at till Monday. I make a call to FaceTime Carson.

Carson: Hi beautiful lady.
Megan: Hi handsome man.
Carson: How are you babe?
Megan: I'm doing good. What about you?
Carson: I'm doing good too. Are you ready for tomorrow?
Megan: Honestly babe, I'm nervous.
Carson: Don't be. You are going to be amazing.
Megan: I'm just scared about if I mess up or something.
Carson: Don't think like that. You have worked really hard babe.
Megan: Thanks babe.
Carson: Oh before I forget what time do you need me to be there to get you?
Megan: Well the Billboards start at 8:00 pm, I'm gonna be up by 10:00 am, I get dressed at 12:00 pm to get ready for the red carpet which take could take probably 3 1/2 hours, so probably 4:00 pm.
Carson: Jesus baby!!
Megan: Haha. I know. I'm not probably gonna be able to text you or anything. But I would recommend that you meet me here at 3:30 to go to the red carpet.
Carson: Sheesh!!
Megan: I know that it's a lot, but it's part of the process.
Carson: I understand. Don't worry.
Megan: I'll make it up to you. After the awards show, you and I come back to the hotel and just hangout. Just the two of us.
Carson: Perfect.

I let out a yawn.

Carson: Oh. Someone is sleepy.
Megan: Hahahaha.
Carson: Get your beauty sleep babe and I'll see you tomorrow.
Megan: Okay. Good night.
Carson: Good night beautiful.

I hang up the phone with Carson and I immediately go to sleep. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day.
