Ch. 52 The "L" Word

Megan POV
Before I even announce on social media about me going on tour with Meghan Trainor, I decided to invite Tony over to my house for him to teach me how to cook. I told him that I wanted to a date night in.
I'm gonna tell him about me going on tour for a while. I'm scared that he might get mad at me.
I'm working one of my songs and I hear my doorbell ring. I check it and it's Tony. He comes with bags full of groceries.

Megan: Hi.
Tony: Hey babe.

He comes in and we go to my kitchen. He sits the bags on the counter.

Megan: What are you gonna teach me to make?
Tony: Imma teach you how to make a steak with asparagus and chicken meatball skewers. For dessert chocolate soufflé.
Megan: Oooooooo!!! What are we waiting for? Teach me.

Tony laughs at me. Then, we began. I know how to cook. I just cook like the basic stuff. Like mac and cheese, fried chicken, tacos, and spaghetti. I can make a fire ass breakfast. But these type of meals that Tony is teaching how to cook I never learned. So this is opening my eyes to new foods.
I was nervous from the beginning of Tony teaching me, but it's beginning to ease.

Tony: You are doing great.
Megan: Thanks. I hope it tastes good.
Tony: It will.

After an hour of cooking, everything was done. We sit down on the bar stools of my kitchen. We take a bite.
Oh....my....God.

Megan: Babe....
Tony: Told you.
Megan: Babe....I didn't think it would be this good.
Tony: Hahahaha. Told you.

This is absolutely amazing. As we are eating, I'm wanting to tell Tony about me going on tour soon. It's eating me up inside.

Megan: Babe, there's something I need to tell you.
Tony: What's up?

I wipe my mouth and take a sip of my drink.

Megan: Ummm, you know that my album came out a couple of months ago?
Tony: Yeah. I downloaded it and you sound amazing.
Megan: Thanks. Not too long ago I met Meghan Trainor.
Tony: No way!! She's one of the best artists in the game.
Megan: She is and she's super nice. So, ummmmm.....she asked me if I wanted to go on tour with her.

Tony POV
I almost choked when Megan said that Meghan Trainor asked her if she can go on tour with her. I take a sip of wine.

Tony: What? What did you say?
Megan: I-I said yes.

I can tell by the way she told me that she was scared to tell me.

Megan: I hope you aren't mad at me.
Tony: Mad? I'm not mad at you.
Megan: You're not?
Tony: I would never be mad at you. This is great. But I know that I'm gonna miss you.
Megan: Oh. I'm gonna miss you too. I'm only gonna be on tour for 3 1/2 months. I'll be back in time for my birthday.

I take Megan by her hands and kiss them.

Megan POV
This man is just something. My heart.

Tony: I'm proud of you Meg.
Megan: Thanks.

After eating dinner, we cleaned up the kitchen. Afterwards, I walked back to my music room and practice on my song. Tony comes too.

Tony: Sweet music room.
Megan: Hahah. Thanks.
Tony: What you working on?
Megan: I'm just working on of my songs.
Tony: I wanna hear.
Megan: Okay.

I get my guitar and sit down. I began to play it.
