Ch. 60 More Surprises

Megan POV
I'm engaged!! Me!! Engaged. Ahhhh!!! I call Bailey, Laura, and Matt tell them the news. They knew the entire time and they are so happy for me. Tony told his mom, Hadley, and David about the news. We also told our managers. Everyone is so thrilled and excited. We told them not to post or say anything about our engagement because we are gonna make the announcement ourselves.
The rest of tour, Tony stays with me. After it was over, we flew back home. We make it home and we both have a lot of work to do. Both of us are working on our new albums, press interviews, meetings, planning for our engagement announcement, and planning for our wedding. So much to do.
I'm on my way to meet with Jane to discuss what we are gonna do for my music videos and what my schedule looks like.

Jane: So the recording of your album is done. The next thing we are gonna do is music videos. Which songs do you want to use?
Megan: I was thinking Patiently and Freak You Out.
Jane: Sounds good. Any idea of how you want them to be?
Megan: For Patiently I would like to do it at the beach. Like something fun.
Jane: I think I can find some ideas.
Megan: We can do Freak You Out something like edgy and calming. Like me acting like how I was a normal person being at the park admiring the flowers.
Jane: I get what you are saying. I'll talk to the director about your ideas and see what he thinks. Up next is TV interviews.
Megan: What we got?
Jane: I think that this is exciting and something totally different than what you've done.
Megan: Ooooo. What is it?
Jane: So you know this talk show called The Real?
Megan: Yes! I love that show. I watch it everyday.
Jane: Great. I got an email from the producer asking if you would like to be a cohost for the entire show.
Megan: What? Me?

I get so excited when Jane told me that.

Jane: Hahahaha. Yep. Since you've seen the show you know what to do. So what do you say?
Megan: Hell yeah. Let's do it.
Jane: Okay. I'll email him back and I'll let you know when you'll be set to go there.
Megan: Yay!!!

After a two hour meeting with Jane, I go home. I'm so exhausted. I take a bath and put on my favorite comfortable pajamas. Before I go to sleep, my phone rings and it's Tony.

Megan: Hey babe.
Tony: Hi baby. How are you?
Megan: I'm good. I'm about to go to bed.
Tony: Oh I'm sorry.
Megan: Nah it's fine. What's up?
Tony: I was wonder if you could come by my place tomorrow. I got something I wanna show you.
Megan: Sure. I'll be there tomorrow morning.
Tony: Awesome. Get some rest. See you tomorrow.
Megan: Okay.

I hang up the phone and I immediately go to sleep. I was out like a light. I guess I'm still jet lagged from tour.
I wake up the next day and I go over to Tony's house. We still haven't announced about our engagement and it's been over a couple of weeks now. I make it to his house.

Megan: So what do you have to show me?
Tony: I wanna get your take on this being the way to announce our engagement.
Megan: Oh okay. What ya got?
Tony: Besides the pictures that the photographer took of us to post on our social media. The little that you knew what I did.
Megan: What?

He gets his laptop and pulls up a video. This man did something that I couldn't even think of. He got someone to film the whole proposal.

Megan: This is amazing.
Tony: Well just know that I think that this is a perfect way for us to announce our engagement. Plus, the song is gonna be on my new album too so this is also my music video.
Megan: Oh Tony. This is perfect. Plus, I really love the song.
Tony: Thanks babe.
Megan: When are you gonna drop it?
Tony: When you want me to? Because this is part of the way of us announcing our engagement.

I think for a moment because he's right. The video is a great idea, we did get our pictures that were taken from the photographer, and we haven't announced it........

Megan: How about tomorrow at 12 noon?
Tony: Sure. That's fine with me. I love you my beautiful fiancée.
Megan: I love you more my handsome fiancé.

Tony leans in and kisses me. He emails Peyton about everything.

Tony: When do you wanna start planning the wedding?
Megan: I have thought about it. We have to look at some dates that is convenient for the people we invite and for us.
Tony: Right.
Megan: I know we need to start looking for a wedding planner as well.
Tony: Hopefully we can find someone.
Megan: As for now, I say we look at dates and a photographer for our engagement photos.
Tony: Fine with me baby.

We look at a few dates that we have in mind and find a photographer. I'm really excited about getting married. Yep. I have all the feels.
