Erza opened the door to see certain pink-haired male standing in front of their house door. Immediately she gives him a sharp glare. Dragging him away from the door.

"From what part did you hear?" harshly, he was wrung to the wooden fence. He winced at the slight pain on his back. Natsu gulped in fear. This is not what he expected. He just came to have a talk with Lucy and maybe play some games? Or ask for a date?

His deduction is right. His neighbor is not normal, neither is he. The scarlet head in front of him was indeed the famous Titania, the Fairy Queen. He saw her once somewhere but he thought he made a mistake since Lucy didn't seem like someone who's from the underworld.

He heard all of their conversations just now.

"Umm...I just got here? But it seemed like I got here on the wrong time, I can go if you want me to," awkward smile on his face.

Huffing out a sigh Erza scrutinized him from head to toe. "Since you're here, can you accompany her for a while, she just lost her father," fascinatingly, his lies got through.

"Yeah, no worries, I'll be by her side," hearing his serious tone, Erza has a small smile etched on her lips. "Well then, I'll go first." She then left hurriedly.

Natsu did not enter, he waited in the front door for a few minutes, thinking of a way to comfort Lucy. Before a ring from his phone startled him. He stumbled to receive the call from Jellal.

"Natsu, there was an ambush on Jude's mansion. He died in that attack," Natsu heart was thumping, from anger, from sadness. He didn't know Jude that well but that man was kind to him. He gave a lot of advice when he became the head of his house.

"His funeral's done tonight. Can you go?"

"I need to do something. I'll visit him later. For now, can you replace me?" Jellal said yes after a short pause. "I'll go,"

"Oh, right. I need you to investigate who attacked them, and what actually happens during that time and report it back to me soon," Jellal was an expert in an investigation next to Gray so all of that kind of job usually Natsu lets him handle them.

"Sure, I'll call you later." Natsu only nodded to it and Jellal hang up the phone almost immediately.

He turned back to the way his house is. He wasn't an idiot. Erza's appearance, Jude's death, Lucy's dad's death. Everything clicked together.

Erza arrived at the famiglia's house. It was horribly wrecked. Slowly she walked to the main hall. The bodies were no longer there, but bloodstain still there, the once white floor is now painted with them. She can only grit her teeth.

One of her men quickly run to her.

"How many men did we lose?" it was useless for her to ask how did this happen. After all, it was an ambush.

"We did everything we can. We lost only 5 men. They sent over 3 assassins we cannot identify where they come from.

She stood in front of the new grave, head hung low as people slowly start to disperse. She still remembers that warm hand which pulled her from the slum. How he introduced his daughter. How proud he is when Erza excels in every of her work. The man who's very awkward with his family members yet always so generous with smile. 

Standing under the rain she can feel a presence, the rain stopped, and next to her stood Jellal. The blue-haired man is calm, holding an umbrella, covering both him and Erza.

"Your boss is not here?' Weird enough, Erza has been inside the family of mafia for so long working under Jude always with him, but she never sees the young dragon of Slayer but she knows both of their leaders are quite in a good relationship.

"Well, he's very sorry but it seemed like he had important matters to attend to,"

Erza would never stop him. That man was known as the brain of the Slayer group he might know who sent the assassins over. 

"Erza-san we found this between the bodies, " one silver pin was passed to Erza. The emblem us a familiar tiger creature.

"Sabertooth," Erza gritted her teeth.

"You said you found this between bodies? May I?" Erza gives the pin to Jellal who then inspects them carefully.

"Tell me specifically, did you find this on the body of the assassins?" Erza henchman was confused, he took a quick glance to Erza who nodded back and before he shook his head.

"Er... No sir, it was on the floor next to him."

There is a glint of realization in Jellal's eyes. He asked for picture proof of the assassin's body condition. It seems like this going to be a long night.
