That evening the three gorgeous ladies already inside the car, ready for the carnival. Erza was maybe a reckless driver but, better than Juvia and of course, she insists wouldn't let Lucy drive either.

The parking lot was already full that it took time for them to find an empty one. It was quite far, but none of them complain.

Juvia was bouncing with excitement, and Erza literally has this image of strawberry shortcake on her eyes. Lucy smiled softly, this is the freedom that she never has back in the mansion.

She was treated like a princess, sheltered away and protected almost 24/7. Now that she has this little freedom, she'll try and enjoy every minute of it.

The carnival is extravagant, just exactly as Romeo and Wendy said it is. People everywhere, so many colors, so many booths. A big smile decorated each and each faces. Automatically, the three girls grinned infected by the positive energy of the town.

Lucy's POV

When we arrived at the Fairy Tail town, it was already packed with crowds of people

It only a few seconds that my attention was taken away and I lost the others in that stream of crowds. Her heart thumping loudly, as she mentally started to panic. Oh no! What do I do?

I looked everywhere and couldn't trace the girls. Fears crept in my mind. I'm not used to be alone like this. in my panicking moments, I heard a voice calling.

"Hey, Luce!!"

Normal P.O.V

"Hey, Luce!!"

Luce? A familiar voice of a guy. But no one called her 'Luce'.

She turns around looking for the source of that voice. A few turns and finally he saw a cherry-pink hair of a certain guy. It was Natsu. because of his hair color, she could distinguish him over the crowd quickly.

He waved enthusiastically at her with his signature toothy grin. Rushingly he made a small run towards her direction. Her heart immediately calms down on sight of a familiar face.

"Hey! Remember me?" as soon as he neared her, he asked pointing to himself.

"Yes. Natsu, " she laughed relieved with him by her side. Something inside her tells that he was not a bad guy.

"You alone? Didn't see anyone with you, " he asked tilting his eyebrows. Lucy laughed awkwardly. "Actually, I'm lost. I swear my friends were just right behind me just now," she admitted.

"Hmm... I see,"

"Alright, I'll stay with you, let's enjoy this carnival while we look for them okay?" Natsu without wasting his time took hold of her hand, entwining their fingers together. He pulled her gently to walk beside him.

He was warm and comforting and as much as Lucy was shy, she couldn't help but keep smiling to herself.

This is the first time Lucy met this type of guy. Basically, Natsu is like a ball of energy, a fully charged one. He dragged her to all the passing food stalls and even game booths. Talking about the game.

Another side of this man that Lucy got to know is, he's talented. Shooting games, strength, to eating. And most people know him and treat him as their friend.

Surprisingly that pink-haired male has an accuracy of a hawk. Lucy, on the other hand, was never good with guns. Underworld or not, she only used guns in order to protect herself, the famiglia's professional sniper was Sagittarius after all, he's a bit weird man with an obsession of Centaurus.

By the time the pair leave the shooting booth, Lucy got two stuff doll in her arms, while Natsu held a red dragon stuff doll, smiling pleasingly. He wouldn't have stopped if the shopkeeper didn't stop him (with that doll).

"You're really good at shooting," Lucy praised, a small smile on her lips.

"Well I'm good at many things," he said with a wink. Natsu was a funny guy. A bit of airhead but charming nevertheless.

They talk a lot. Hobbies, favorite food, songs and until it comes to the occupation. Natsu's smile wavered a little. A small pause makes Lucy wondered if she asked a sensitive question but then he answered.

"Nothing much, just a family business. How about you?" he directed back the question to Lucy.

"I'm a writer," and Natsu gawked with amusement. "Wow! You write things? That's awesome! I don't like writing though," followed by his awkward laugh. Paperwork was his main enemy.

"Well, I'm not that good. But you are! Taking care of business is not easy, must have done a lot of works," she praises.

"Oh, Luce look! They're starting the parade!" he grabbed Lucy's hand and pulled her along. A big smile plastered on his face, reminding Lucy of a really excited child.
