Lily's POV (Finally right? It won't be long though XD)

I felt my heart break more when the man I love shut the door on his friends and saw the broken looks on their faces as he made a toast to Miss Lind. He told her how America was going to love her when he knew that was the our dream. America to love us as we are.

The chorus sung as we walked to the main room where the snobs and rich people were. Once we walked in, they looked at us in disgust and whispered. I became nervous then felt a small hand grab mine and looked to see that it was Charles, helping me out.
