Awkward

"hey your fine now, aren't you. Your here and your safe"
Joe said to a very upset dianne 3hislt hugging her.

Joe and dianne were friends no mkre than that. They got on so well as they grew up with each other being around. Joe was very protective over dianne but only in a friendly way so after dianne slipped out that her now ex boyfriend was abusing her and using her for sex joe had to save her and that's what he just did. After managing to sneek out of this guys apartment joe helped dianne out of one of many back windows and into his car driving away as quickly as he could.

"joe, what if he finds me"
Dianne cried into him

"he won't. I'll protect you, your here with me and my mum and I'm not letting him near you because you dianne buswell, I love you"
Joe let slip out

"you what?"
Dianne asked so confused to joes comment

"I'm sorry... If you don't feel the same way but you know I think I've been in love with you from the very Start of this. Sorry I ahd to say I couldn't keep it in any longer"
He said

Beofre dianne said something , she brought her lips closer to to joes placing them on his and kissing him. This was obviously a big shock to joe. He didn't think dianne like him in that way. But dianne actually did and in this abusive relationship she was in she wished she was with joe.

"ummm..... Wow..... Your incredible"
Joe stuttered. That was the best kiss he ever had

"you know I think in falling for you"
Dianne whispered

"your in for one lucky night tonight dianne buswell"
Joe smirked knowing that his mum was out tonight. He picked her up carrying her to his bedroom. They weren't worried about doing anything like that it wasn't like they met only a couple of hours ago, they knew each other for years.

"oh my god, I'm so sorry"
Tracey said walking into her sons bedroom at 1am after coming back from her friends 50th birthday party.

"it's alright mum. I guess"
Joe said after hearing his mum talk from the doorway, he broke the kiss he was having with dianne and looked at her

"so do you have some explaining to do....."
Tracey gigfled at the fact that her son was in his own bed but with a girl she ahd also knew for years as dianne was a family friend.

"wait till the morning"
He mumbled
"go away mum, and shut the door"
He said as Tracey walked out of the room, he snuggled back down into diannes grip and carried on kissing her.

"was that your mum?"
Dianne asked quietly

"yeah. God, she can walk in at the most awkward of times"
Joe gigfled being quiet as his mum was in the room just along the hall

"well, at least she didn't walk in earlier otherwise joe sugg that would be awkward with a capital a"
Dianne smiled

"yeah it would be"
He giggled pressing his lips back onto hers.

"joe stop , your mums literally down the hall. Be quiet"
Dianne whispered

"I don't care. Am I not allowed to kiss you?"
He said

"you can but be quiet....ummm....joe what are we?"
Dianne asked

"whatever you want us to be. I really love you"
He smiled

"I love you too"
She smiled back Beofre they fell to sleep

Joe woke up the next morning with dianne layed on his chest. He felt so happy to of saved her from an abusive relationship and so lucky that he now had her as his almost. Wriggling out of the position he stood up putting his dressing gown on over his boxer shorts and wondered downstairs.
He saw his mum in the kitchen, hopefully she wouldn't mention anything about walking in on them kissing last night but it was the first thing she said.

"so what's with you and dianne then."
Tracey giggled

"oh I don't know. It slipped out that I loved her last night and she loved me back and it was confusing. I can't really remember anything apart from you walking in on us"
Joe looked down

"again joe. I'm sorry about that, I jsut heard you talking to someone and I wondered if you were talking in your sleep because you used to do that as a kid. I'm sorry, I know i made it really awkward"
Tracey apologiesed

"oh it's fine. It was good you walked in when you did"
Joe giggled knowing that if she walked in about 20 minutes earlier she would of seen something even worse

"joe. You didn't did you. Joe I didn't need to know that"
Tracey giggled slightly getting the message

"sorry mum, at least you knew who she is otherwise you would of killed me wouldn't you?"
Joe said

"yeah I would. I knew one day you'd get together. I knew It"
She smiled

For a very long time Tracey knew that Joe fancied dianne even before he relasied he did. She always felt they would finally end up together or at least dating.

"well done Joseph. Give me a daughter in law will ya"
Tracey smirked

"I haven't even asked her to be my girlfriend yet mum, chill out"
Joe laughed

"I'm only joking joe"
Tracey hugged her son

The bond Tracey Nd joe had was unbreakable and it was little times like this where Tracey knew how to change an awkward situation into a good old laugh

Abit of a random one this. But I'm gonna bring out another new story soon but I need to finish this first. Once this gets so 25 chapters I'll be ending it and moving onto a new story.

If you want a new story then you'll going to have to have to give me ideas. Im writing one now suggested by @dogslovers123 but still need more ideas to finish this and get it to 25 chapters so I can start a new book x
