After a few days of ongoing training it was time for our independent training sessions with our possible sponsors. Unlike Peter, I didn't showcase my confidence to the rest of the tributes. Every second he got he would taunt them, relishing in the face that he was stronger than them. However he did keep away from the Career tributes, including Freyer and Dahlia. It was obvious that Freyer was having a hard time keeping himself away from Peter. He definitely wanted to punch him, most likely just like the rest of us. Even Rouge looked mad and she rarely came at Peter since he was her district partner.

We all sat in a room full of chairs, each one accompanied by a district number. Although they seemed to be quite lenient with the Careers on mixing during just the training sessions, the others weren't as lucky.

Once Rouge's name was called, Peter had settled down into his seat and excitedly chatted to Xander. While they talked I kept my eyes forward and my hands clasped. I knew that many people were counting on me. The many promises I've made have finally come back to bite me when I realized I had to come up with a better plan than simply splitting from the Career pack. The Cornucopia is bound to be the place they all expect to see action from me and for all of us to team up, so I definitely had to have a tactic about getting out of there unnoticed.

Not realizing that both Peter and Xander had already been called out, my name being called quickly brings my out of my stupor. Standing up, I look back at the other tributes in the room and lock eyes with Freyer. His eyes locked with mine and he gave me a slight nod before I was ushered out by a Peacekeeper.

Just outside the thick metal door, the training room sat with all its glory. Up above the sponsors all sat and took note of me as I walked up to a rack full of different knives. Their noise was undoubtably annoying as they laughed and gossiped like middle school girls.

Picking up a set of three knives, I carried them with me as I looked at the moving targets ahead of me. The main parts of the body such as the head, hands, and stomach lit up in bright red, reflecting off of my blades.

Before I could simply throw my knives I looked up at them and gave them a nod. "Saffra Wilshere. Sixteen. District Two," I stated briefly before turning my attention back to the targets.

Looking ahead at the targets, the noise of the sponsors quickly turned into muffled noise as I fixed my grip on the sharp blades. Then pulling my arm back I allowed the blade to exit my grip and stab right into the head of one of the targets as it stopped moving to the right. Many of the sponsors cheered as I continued to throw my knives, eventually ridding the field of all the targets.
