The overwhelming feeling was back, but worse then ever.
------------
In the little room, Ivo was having a panic attack. Stone had been called off that day due to sickness.

Not having him there was suffocating. He needed the warmth of his body. He needed that kind of care that Stone has always given to him. He needed his arms around him. He needed him to tell him repeatedly that it was going to be okay. He needed that tastey latte. He needed someone. He needed Stone.

Ivo was remembering the orphanage. He remembered Miss Terry. He remembered the punishments. He remembered the anger. He remembered the ridicule.

He was shaking so heavily. He coukd barely move. He could barely do anything. Doctor Robotnik was out of commission  and had no idea if he would ever come back.

His breathing was heavy, and his body could not stop violently shaking. He needed his assistant. Ivo needed Stone.

-

Robotnik was working on his newest invention. He heard Stone come into the lab. He sighed softly, turning around.

"So, I see that you have come back. You are no longer sick, yes?"

Stone nodded, "correct, sir." He gave him a smile. Robotnik did not smile back, but rather kept his neutral expression.

"That's good. It's more effective with you here." He walked pass Stone, walking to make his own damn latte. He couldn't help but to feel angry at Stone for not being there. The one thing that could comfort him was gone when he needed him the most. How could Stone be so unreliable?

When Ivo got to the latte machine, he paused. There was a lot more steps than he remembered since the last time he had made one. He tried to figure it out.

"Need a latte?"

Ivo jumped, nearly screaming. He sighed.

"Stone, who is a genius?"

"You, si--"

"Exactly. I think I can get my own latte." He stared at the latte machine for a good minuet before Stone started to make the latte for him.

Robotnik huffed and walked away, going back to the lab. He didn't need Stone. He didn't need anyone. He had himself. His smart self.

Shit.

His anger was pushing up the emotions that the doctor had deemed "negative". He went to hide in the little room, but quickly realized that Stone would get worried, and he didn't want him to worry.

Just a couple more minutes. Then they can both go to the room and destress.

No. Robotnik didn't want Stone near him. He let him down once, he is bound to do it again.

But Stone--

No.
