Disclaimer:  None of these characters belong to me.  They belong to their respective creators.  I'm merely borrowing them to satisfy this nagging plot bunny in my head.

Spoilers/Timeline:  Post Season 7 of BtVS; post Season 8 of Charmed (AU most definitely)

Summary:  Faith's working out some issues with Wyatt...

Author's Note:  I was on a roll writing crossover fics for BtVS & Charmed back in 2007, but I promise you the next chapters will be a crossover with other fandoms, not just Charmed.  Also I made some revisions to this chapter; I feel that it needed a bit of an update from when I first uploaded it years ago on another site.

III.  Working Out

WYATT BLOCKED EVERY KICK, PUNCH and lunges aimed at him by his sparring partner.  He became the unwitting partner of the untiring brunette currently staying with them at the Manor after Henry, Paige's husband and a law enforcer who knows hand-to-hand combat, gave up sparring with the petite but not fragile Slayer.

"Faith," Wyatt grunted after he blocked a rather deadly blow to the head if he hadn't been quick to block her.

"What?" Faith didn't sound out of breath at all even though she has been working out for the past hour and a half.

"Don't you need a time-out or something?"

"What for?" She faked to the right then delivered a punch-kick combo on Wyatt to the left.  She nearly knocked him out with her roundhouse kick if he hadn't recovered fast enough from the sidekick Faith delivered to him when he least expected it.

Wyatt glared at the feisty brunette and waited for her to kick or punch him again.  Anticipating her next move, he caught her leg mid-kick, her body twisted sideways in a somewhat uncomfortable position before freezing her in place.

"Hey!  What's the deal, dude?" Faith tried to wiggle off the somewhat embarrassing position she was frozen at, but it was a futile attempt.  "Wyatt!" She glared at the smirking part-witch, part-Whitelighter.

"I need a time out," he announced and walked away.  He tried not to grimace as he stretched his sore arm.  He gotta ask his dad to help him out with the healing.  Fighting Faith was different from fighting demons; Faith throws a helluva mean punch that was for sure.  Good thing Faith wasn't around in his time in the future; thanks to Billie's botched-up spell, he was unceremoniously summoned back in time and until Billie can master her potion making skills, he was stuck here for the time being.

Faith was yelling to the top of her lungs for Wyatt to come back and unfreeze her.  She alternated from cussing him him out to threatening his family jewels.  Neither trick worked.  Wyatt left her frozen on the patio outside the conservatory and walked inside.  He caught a glimpse of Henry, Paige, Piper, Phoebe and Leo with their mouths agape as they stared at the screaming Slayer.  When none of the adults said anything, Wyatt grinned at them and headed towards the kitchen to make himself a nice ice pack for his sore muscles.

"I should've asked Piper to freeze Faith earlier before I handed her off to Wyatt," muttered Henry, which earned him a swatting from his wife.
