"Do you know what today is?" you asked, looking up at Tom. He turned away from the T.V. show the two of you were watching and looked at you.

"What?"

"It's the 3- month anniversary of when we kissed for the first time."

"Really?" You nodded.

"My friend reminded me." Tom nodded slowly.

"Well, I guess that means that we should do something special." You chuckled. "What?"

"That's what my friend said, too," you replied. "She said that it was a special occasion."

"I fail to see where she's wrong." You rolled your eyes as Tom stood up and held out his hand.

"Where are we going?" you asked.

"To celebrate." You raised your eyebrow as you took Tom's hand.

"Where?" He glanced at you, smiling.

"You're just going to have to wait to find out."

Tom took you to a restaurant that was surprisingly empty. The two of you sat in the back, away from the few people there, and order your food.

"What?" you asked, catching Tom staring at you for the third time. "Is there something in my teeth?" He laughed.

"No, no, everything's fine. Better than fine, actually."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah. I'd say everything's just about perfect."

"Mm. And why do you say that?" Tom reached out and took your hand.

"Because I have you."
