"Delayed for days?" Tom nodded. Zendaya's frown deepened through the FaceTime. "Stupid weather." He laughed.

"It's only a couple of days," he pointed out.

"No, it's a couple more days. You've been gone for almost forever," she whined. Tom chuckled. "And stop laughing!" That, of course, only made him laugh more. "This isn't a funny situation!"

"No, but your reaction is." She rolled her eyes.

"This storm is going to have to face my furry."

"Uh-huh." He repositioned himself on his bed. "You can handle a few more days."

"I don't think that I can."

"Oh, I'm sure you can." She shook her head, her brown hair bouncing around on the screen.

"I miss you," she said.

"I miss you, too. This time will fly by."

"It better." She took a deep breath. "I guess I better go. Gotta prepare myself to be alone." Tom chuckled again.

"Alright, my love. I'll talk to you later." She smiled before ending the FaceTime. Tom tossed his phone to the side and glanced at the clock, noticing that it was after one. "Crap," he whispered to himself. "It's late." He quickly got himself ready for bed, making sure that he was ready for the next day, when he would met the few people that were also grounded due to the weather. Even though he couldn't control the weather, he still felt bad.

When he was done, he slipped into bed, and quickly fell asleep.
