This one just kinda came to me so, sorry if it's rubbish.
Virgil and Logan both loved stargazing. Logan loved it because he loved astronomy, he loved that there were undiscovered planets and constellations and even whole galaxies! Virgil loved it because it was light enough to see by but dark enough so that you could hide from people. Also, the moon and the stars were his friends and with your friends, how could you be scared?
Third person POV:
One morning, there was a note taped to the coffee machine. It said
Virgil-
I've gone to the imagination. Eat some breakfast, get ready and then go to the imagination door.
-Logan
Virgil ate an apple, got ready, then headed to the imagination door. There was a note stuck there. It said
Virgil-
At four o'clock, go to the place that we first went stargazing together.
-Logan
At four o'clock:
Virgil made his way to the roof at four o'clock. The sun was just setting and when he got there, there was another note and a flashlight. The note read
Virgil-
So, you remembered where, but can you remember what I gave you? Follow the trail of that thing and I'll be there.
-Logan
On the floor, there was a trail of purple flowers. Following them, Virgil found a galaxy picnic mat with a wicker basket on one of the corners in a clearing. The clearing had a perfect view of the stars.
(With Logan)
Logan checked that he had the box and his telescope before heading over to the clearing. Seeing that Virgil was already there, he coughed quietly to announce his presence.
"Oh, hey Logan!" said Virgil, moving over on the blanket and patting the space next to him .
"Salutations, Virgil." replied Logan, sitting in the offered space.
"Um, hey, um..." said Logan, the nerves starting to get to him.
"Yeah, Logan?" said Virgil, turning to face Logan.
"Can I ask you something?" said Logan.
"Um, sure..." replied Virgil, confused. Logan got down on one knee. Before he knew what was happening, Logan was tackled by Virgil, who kissed him passionately. Breaking apart the kiss, Logan asked "So... Is that a yes?"
"Of course, dummy!" exclaimed Virgil. Logan then put the purple and black gem-encrusted engagement ring on his finger.
