Yo yo yo. Chapter 8 how about that. Here we go.
. . .
I got off my bike and parked it at the house. As I walked up the steps I couldn't stop thinking about alcohol. I haven't had any for so long, I missed the comfort of it, the warmth of it. But I promised the guys that I wouldn't fall off of the wagon again, stupid promises. I hate it. Reality sucks ass.
I took out my keys from my pocket and unlocked the door. I walked in and saw Asia and Charlie watching Friends as usual. I sat on my chair and spread my legs out and groaned.
"I expected you to be home before we were." Asia said
"Yeah well you told me to work and get my life back on track so that is what I am doing" I replied tiredly. There was a knock at the door. Oh shit Mika's here
My eyes widened.
"Yep she is here. Remember she said she was coming over this morning" Charlie chuckles looking at my face.
I suddenly ran up the stairs. I don't know if I can put up my walls again. I am tired of hiding my growing feelings for her. It was too much. Every time she smiles I feel like pouring out my heart. That is dangerous. I can't be around her, she is too much.
Pull yourself together. Think about it. What would you rather never seeing her because of your stupid feelings or put your feelings to a side and get to see her like everyday. Come on. I am sure you would rather have her as a best friend than nothing at all.
Oh why do you always have to be right my dear conscious. I got changed into more comfortable clothes I chucked on some grey joggers and no shirt. I put on my baseball cap backwards and checked myself out in the mirror. Look at that six pack. Damn I'm sexy. I unlocked my bedroom door and walked out. I walked down the stairs and into the front room.
I saw her. He long curly hair sprayed out across the back of my chair as if she had just thrown herself down. I smiled a little then I realised.
She was sitting in my chair
My chair. How very dare she.
"Why are you sitting in my chair pretty girl?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
Mika POV
"Why are you sitting in my chair pretty girl." a familiar voice said from behind me. I turned to see Toni leaning against a wall in a pair of grey joggers and a sports bra. Her hat was on backwords. I could see another tattoo peeking out from under her sports bra, Another one I have to ask her about. I hadn't seen her in a while. She has been at work or in the gym so I only saw Asia and Charlie most of the time.
"I asked you a question, do you plan on answering it or are you gonna keep looking at me like you wanna eat me?" she raised an eyebrow. I flushed but soon recovered.
"Well move your meat loose your seat." I laughed. All of a sudden something heavy landed on me.
"Ahh. Get off of me you lump. Fucking shit. What do you eat?" I struggled as Toni laid across me on the chair. She just laughed as she put all of her weight on me.
"Ahh. Get up. You are so heavy." She was high on laughter. Her breathing was all messed up as well and she was making this weird noise every time she breathed in. I started laughing hysterically as well. By the time we had both calmed down we were on the floor on top of each other. I was straddling her waist on the floor in the middle of the living room. Toni was underneath me with tears in her eyes.
"You are an absolute idiot" I said calming down and catching my breath. I just looked down at her and she was staring at me with a smirk on her face.
"What are you smirking at weirdo?" I said curiously
"I was just thinking that I quite like this position that we are in." She smirked even wider. I looked down and realised what kind of position this was and I immediately stood up and got off of her. She started laughing again at my embarrassment. I kicked her in the stomach, not too hard but not lightly either. She rolled onto her side but her laughter never faultered. She got up off the floor and sat back on the chair.
I looked around for a new place to sit, seen as Toni had clearly won the fight, but I was grabbed from behind and pulled onto someone lap. When I looked around I was sitting on Toni's lap. But she wasn't even looking at me she was just watching Friends drinking apple juice.
I sat back and started watching Friends with the others. I could get used to this, being with Toni and the guys.
But don't you wanna be more than Toni's friend. You like her. You like like her. You like how she looks. You like how she smells. You like her personality. You like everything about her. Even how she seems like a shallow person but when you look into her eyes you see that she sees more meaning in things. You want her, Don't you?
Oh my dais. You have to ruin everything don't you brain. You can't just shut up and let me have a moment. You have to release hormones into my body.
Ever since that. My brain shut up. I just watched TV with the guys until really late.
I must've fallen asleep. Because when I woke up I was in bed as I opened my eyes a delicious smell entered my nose, it was like fresh mint and ripe mangoes . I opened my eyes fully and saw that I was in a bedroom. A bedroom that's carpet was a dark neutral colour. The walls had black, blue and green patterns on it. There were pictures on the walls. Some were sports posters and some were pictures of The trio and a young boy who looked like Toni. I guess it is her brother, he was as good looking as her not that much older by the looks of it. Maybe one day she will tell me about him. After a while I clocked that I was in Toni's room. But she wasn't in here. I panicked and checked that I was still wearing clothes. Funnily enough I was wearing my black hoodie blanket. I chuckled.
I got out of bed and walked through one of the doors, turns out I walked straight into the closet, Ah memories I thought chuckling(gay joke). I walked out again. I walked through another door. Turns out it was a mini gym, I walked out again and walked through another, it was the bathroom. UUHH. why
I walked through the last door and found myself in a corridor. Yesss. I saw the stairs leading downwards so I walked down. I saw Toni lying on the couch fast asleep. Damn she even looked intimidating in her sleep what the hell. I laughed and walked in the kitchen. I poured some orange juice for myself and but some bread in the toaster. I sat down at the bar and thought about my dream last night. I had a dream about this weird looking bear asked me on a date. It was crazy.
"What you up to Chick" I turned around to see Charlie in a pair of checked pants and no shirt. I looked at him quizzically and then thought to myself nope still gay as shit .
"Making breakfast. What does it look like?" I said rolling my eyes playfully. He laughed and sat down rubbing his eyes tiredly.
"I watched Toni carry you up those stairs last night when you fell asleep. At first I thought her was gonna stay in the but she came back downstairs with a handful of blankets and a pillow. She set herself up on the sofa and went to sleep. I have to say. You have really changed her. She hasn't had one drink in so long and I know for a fact that she misses alcohol cause of the way she looks at the beers we drank yesterday. But she sat there with her apple juice and didn't say a word. But what surprises me even more is that she hasn't had a girl over in while either."
Charlie doesn't even look at me when he says this. Almost as if he is thinking aloud.
"Hmm" I said. Not knowing what he wanted me to say.
"You know she is kinda in love with you." Charlie stops as his eyes widen and he slaps both his hands over his mouth and falls onto the floor.
"no no no no no no no no" he repeats rolling around as if he is in pain.
I didn't even notice. Toni is in love with me what. no way. omg. shit.
"What did you just say?" I asked out of breath.
. . .
That was a long one huh
