Mika POV
I wake suddenly and stand quickly. I look around searching for Toni or Marcus but all I see is Asia knocked out on the ground. I rush over to her.
"Asia. Asia wake up." I shake her lightly. Her head comes up slowly and she looks around.
"Mika are you okay? Are you hurt?" she ask looking me over a couple times. I shake my head bit touch a cut on her face underneath her eye.
"You are bleeding." I say.
"It doesn't hurt. We have to get back to the others and tell them what happened." she says standing up and holding my shoulders. I think back to what happened. I think about the fear in Toni's eyes matching the fear form the night of the call. I think of hoe beat up she look, the bruises all over her skin, the blood everywhere. I think of how even then she could still be as sarcastic as she wanted.
I think of what Marcus said had happened. How much she must have been through for the last month.
"She must hate me for not looking for her." I say.
"No no. She doesn't she still loves you. I could see it in her eyes when she told you to leave. She wanted to warn you." I nod trying to reassure myself. She guides me back to the car.
"What are we going to do?" she asks me while we drive back.
"I have a plan, but we need the others as well." I say determinedly. I feel something. For the first time in a month. I felt something. Hope and anger. I need to get the love of my life back and I was going to make sure Marcus got it bad.
We walk in.
"Oh my god Babe what happened to your face?" Stephanie jumps up and runs to Asia.
Charlie runs to me and looks me over he hugs me tightly.
"You guys were gone for so long." he says. I lock eyes with Ava over his shoulder I give her a look and she says
"What happened?"
They guide Asia and I to sit down and we explain to them everything that happened. They gasp and Charlie gets angry.
"What are we going to do. We aren't going to let him get away with it are we?" he asks. He is holding Ava's hand and she is writing patterns in his skin to calm him down.
"I have a plan." They look up at me.
"Marcus said no police but we have to be smart. So all we have to do is get the police to the garden before Marcus gets there, position them in places that he won't know. All of us except Ava with go to pick Toni up, we will get Marcus to confess everything to the police while Ava video's it all.
When we get Toni in our hands the police will grab everyone."
"Its sounds good but we need a back up incase that doesn't work." Steph says.
"Okay then good idea. Well no matter what happens Ava will have footage of him confessing so if the police can't make it we can just give them the footage. Marcus and my father were closely monitored by police because of their involvement in gangs so the police know where he lives, all they have to do is find him and he goes down."
"Woah Mika how did you come up with that."
"I need her back. And I watch a lot of films." I smile, for the first time in a month I smile a genuine smile.
"Of course we need to be careful because we know Marcus is watching us." Asia says
"So no phones." Charlie says.
