Bibi's POV
Abuja, Nigeria.
The next day, Afnan and Leena came over to help me pack, and we finished around one in the afternoon, so we prayed dhuhr and decided to drive to Tutti Frutti for some ice cream, and I drove them home before returning home myself. By the way, these are my two most important friends; we've been together since primary school and have been inseparable since.
I called the maids to help me take my boxes downstairs after making sure everything was in place. I took a bath, put on a baggy t-shirt and leggings, and packed the remaining items I wanted to do myself. We are leaving tomorrow to start a new life in a foreign country, leaving my childhood memories behind.
I wish I knew why we were going so suddenly; maybe I wouldn't be so upset. I sit down and glance around my now-empty room. I designed it myself and now I am abandoning it, but on the bright side, my best friends have promised to visit throughout the holidays, so I won't be bored all the time.
I go down to eat lunch despite the fact that I've lost my appetite, so I come back up and decide to watch the Spiderwick Chronicles, which is one of my favourite films and I'm never tired of watching it. I dozed off halfway through the movie and awoke to the call to prayer.
I grab my phone to check the time; it's 7:44 p.m. Oh my goodness, Maghrib, i can't believe I overslept and missed Magrib . I rush to the lavatory for ablution before praying Magrib and then isha. I say my azkar and head downstairs. I take my iPad, which I had previously left in Mama's study, and return to the sitting area upstairs. I FaceTimed Leena and we talked for about an hour until Alice came up and said supper was ready, so we said our goodbyes and I went back downstairs.
After dinner, I returned upstairs and contemplated whether or not to take a bath; don't mind me, it's just today. I put on my pink panther PJs and enter the bathroom, wash my face, put on my eye shade and say my prayers before snuggling into the mattress and going to sleep, remembering to turn off the lights.

The Next Morning.
I wake up around nine in the morning so I decided to take my time and do my business in the toilet. I emerged thirty minutes later. I'm not stressed because we were using my uncle's private jet; it was a gift from the governor to my uncle for being a good friend.
They have been together for a long time; let's just say they go way back. My Uncle, Bashir is Mama's older brother and is my favorite uncle, he and the governor have been best of friends and it was because of him that Mama works with him now.
I put on some body lotion, then put on my baby blue bodycon and then I put on a black abaya and it's matching veil. I wear a pair of flats; I love them so much; the comfort they give my feet is unexplainable some people prefer putting on sneakers but personally I don't like what my feet feel like when I wear them.
I hear Mama talking to the driver through the window. "Good morning," I greet her as I stroll down the long corridor, past the sitting room, and into the kitchen. I have a few pancakes with whipped cream and a cup of tea before returning to the sitting room, where I am greeted with the surprise of my life. Leena and Afnan arrived to accompany me to the airport! I want to cry right now because I know I'm going to miss Nigeria, and specifically my buddies.
Mama is finally ready, and so we leave for the airport. The girls and I chat all the way to the airport with Mama in the car until we arrive at the airport, which was an hour later. I say bye to my friends and walk into the departures, leaving my friends behind. I'm really surprised that I didn't even shed a single tear, though I was heartbroken. Since we're flying privately, we only go through immigration once and then reality starts to set in.
I slept the entire flight and only woke up when the pilot made announcements, so I washed my face and fixed my veil. We landed 30 minutes later. Mama stated a cousin of mine would come pick us up. I'm starting to feel dizzy; this happens to me whenever I travel, whether long or short distance. Let's say I experience motion sickness.
Ayman or whatever his name is, is the first born to Uncle Faiz Mama's second older brother.
I'm literally about to fall to my knees and beg Mama to contact the driver since it appears that my darling, wonderful cousin will not be here. Note the sarcasm. Finally, Mama contacts the driver, and we depart an hour later.
