Chapter 4

The next day Nova woke up and headed right for the shower, as she was getting out of the there was a knock on her door thinking it was Max she yelled out, "Don't come in I just got out of the shower, what's up?"

There was a girly laugh at the door that could only belong to one person, "I've seen you naked many times Nova. I am coming in," Jazz walked through the door and sat on Nova's bed pulling her phone out, "So Alpha Max told me I have to take you to the mall to get more clothes, he doesn't want you going alone or something like that. And we have a hot guy taking us."

Nova pulled on her clothes and laughed at her friend, "Is it Kyle?" The two girls linked arms and walked into the hallway. 

Kyla bowed, "Luna, are you ready to go?" Nova shook her head and headed down all the flights of stairs till they got to the bottom floor, walking into the all purpose kitchen everyone turned their head to Nova and bowed. She ignored them all and walked over to the pantry to grab something quick to eat.

After she had something she nodded to Kyle and grabbed Jazz's hand, "Let's go I guess." 

On the way to the mall Jazz turned to Nova, "Where did you get more money? I thought you ran out the other day?" 

Nova nodded looking out the window "Max gave me money, he wouldn't let me refuse it." 

Jazz nodded and didn't say anything till they got to the mall. They all stepped out and Kyle gave them some distance but didn't stray too far. Walking into one store Nova picked out some notebooks she needed, "Nova, I think we should leave." 

Nova stood up with the notebooks in her hand, "What are you talking about Jazz? We just got here." 

Kyle also took a closer step to them, "Nova, you need to check out and we should get out of here."

Nova looked around, she saw no one and then looked back at Kyle and Jazz confused, "What is going on?" 

Kyle looked confused back at Nova, "You can't smell them?" 

Jazz chuckled, "Let's go check out and then we will tell you. Kyle, do you know nothing? She has no sense of smell."  The three walked to the register and checked out Nova felt eyes on her and looked around before she saw a group of boys looking at them.

Jazz dragged Nova out of the store and into the main mall, "Those were rouges back there. They were following us around the store." 

Nova nodded, looked around and didn't see them, "Can we go into another store? I really don't want to hear him when I don't come back with any clothes." 

Kyle rubbed the back of his neck, "I guess just one more store but then we need to go." 

Jazz looked around and Nova noticed her sniffing the air, "Let's go this way, one store Nova."

Nova was quick in the store and left with a new dress, another pair of jeans and some tops. They got into the car and the minute they reached the pack house Max was outside. He ripped open Nova's door and grabbed her quickly, "Why didn't you leave right away? You are getting more guards, those wolves could have hurt you." 

Nova wiggled out of his arms, "They didn't even come close to me, Kyle is a fine guard. I don't need more attention brought on to me. I was protected." 

Max nodded and grabbed the few bags from Nova, "Why didn't you get more?" 

Nova rolled her eyes, "You were just mad that I didn't leave right away and now you are upset that I didn't get more. I'm going to finish that stack of files in the office."

Nova was alone in the office for a few hours, she put the file down, walked out and down to the kitchen. Pack members bowed to her on the way, she got to the kitchen, made herself something to eat and sat down in the dining hall. There were already wolves in there and she just sat in silence. She looked at all the teens on their phone and sighed. Jazz came in and sat next to her, "Alpha Max stood there shocked for like five minutes. Oh and he asked me why he couldn't find your cell phone number in the pack directory."
