Come Back To Me

Chapter 3

Nova woke up with a groan and looked at the time and saw that it was one in the morning, groaning again she sat up, or at least tried to but an arm was holding her down. Rolling her eyes she tapped on his arm, and when he didn't wake up she tried to wiggle out, "Nova, stop moving and go back to sleep."

"Then get out of my bed, Max." 

Nova tried to move again but he didn't budge, "Nova, stop."

"Max, get the hell out of my bed then!" 

Max chucked, "No thank you." 

Nova pushed as hard as she could and when he wouldn't budge she laid back, "Why are you trapping me in the bed? Actually why are you even in my bed?"

"You are my mate," Max pulled her tighter to him, "and I'm pretty comfortable."

"Max please leave."

Max slowly sat up, "Nova, please don't keep pushing me away. I am trying." 

Nova finally sat up and pulled away from Max, sitting on the edge of the bed, she turned to look at him, "Please just go, go back to Riley." Nova stood up and walked over to her bathroom, after she was finished she walked back into her room and Max was sitting there still, "Max, go back to your own room."

"Riley wants me to sleep in here with you, and if you won't let me sleep here then I'll have to go into the spare room. I know this isn't easy for you, and believe me it isn't easy for me either. And Riley has just been trying to convince me to be with you."

Nova scoffed and walked over to the door opening it, "Max, if someone has to try and convince you to even consider being with me, your mate, then you really can leave."

Max stood up and slowly walked to the door, "You know that is not what I meant, Nova please. Don't make me leave. Let's just go back to sleep and in the morning we will talk about it all."

"Fine then if you won't leave I will," Nova walked out and left the apartment in a hurry. Heading to Jazz's room she knocked and when there was no answer she knocked again louder. 

Finally the door opened, "Nova, what is going on?"

"Nova please," Nova looked over at Max and rushed into Jazz's room.

"Can I stay here for tonight? Please?" 

Jazz nodded, "Yeah, of course. Can I know what is going on at least?" 

Nova walked over to Jazz's bed, "I'm hiding from him. I woke up and he was in my bed, I asked him to leave and he wouldn't so I left."

There was a knock on the door and Jazz went to answer it, "No Jazz, it's just Max. Ignore it!"

Jazz turned around but the knocking got louder, "Jazz, open this door now!" Max used his Alpha voice there was no turning back for Jazz, she opened the door and bowed her head in submission.

"Nova, come back to the suite. I'll sleep in the other room." 

Nova shook her head, "No, Max. I just want to be with Jazz tonight. Please, it will make me happy." 

Max sighed and reluctantly nodded his head, "Fine, but I need you in the office at nine."

Nova watched as Max walked out but not before looking back one last time. Jazz slowly shut the door and turned to face Nova, "You have him wrapped around your finger Nova." 

Nova sighed and laid on Jazz's bed against the wall. She didn't say anything else she just closed her eyes while Jazz shut the light and came over to the bed. Nova willed herself to go back to sleep and soon she felt herself drift off. Nova felt herself being shaken, and opened her eyes to see Jazz, "Hey, Nova its eight thirty. Alpha Max wanted you in his office by nine. You can borrow some clothes if you want."
