"I really wish you hadn't done that, Aesop. You do know that you're just screwing me over, right?"

The younger boy blew smoke out harshly from his system through his nose. He couldn't help but roll his eyes and groan in annoyance.

"It's not may fault that Emily knows, as she's the one who started questioning the wounds a long time ago. I freaked out and she spilled to Eli. You knew that she knew. Don't blame me."

It had been says since the last stunt Joseph pulled, and Aesop felt calm again. He was just grateful it only happened when Joseph was fucked up, really upset, or thought Aesop owed him. I guess you could call it fair, and if you wanted honesty, Aesop really didn't mind spending time around Joseph when he's calm like this.

The older male laughed a little, inhaling some sort of smoke that was definitely not good for him.

"Sure thing. Yeah, I totally believe you."

Aesop couldn't help but place what he was using to make himself numb all over down on the table. He could never be sure what Joseph gave him anymore or what it was laced with, but he loved it anyways.

"When have I ever lied to you."

"When you cam running to me, sobbing, that you were in love with the seer and didn't know what to do."

Aesop quickly picked the burning piece back up, taking another small hit of it. He couldn't tell Joseph he was being truthful. God... he couldn't tell anyone anything anymore.

He just closed his eyes gently, leaning back on the wall and relaxing. He felt alright from where he was sitting indian style on the floor.

"Joseph where the fuck is my-"

Aesop froze at the familiar voice. His gaze snapped in the direction, looking at where the other boy was standing in the now open doorway, his face pale. Joseph ran a hand down his face, groaning slightly.

"Come and shut the door, idiot."

Aesop watched as the room, which is only every lightly lit up by green lights, is filled with smoke, and always has music playing, got darker again. The other boy stood there, the door now closed behind him. It made an uneasy sense fall over Aesop.

"Uhm... cigarett-"

"There in the top drawer. Remember though, if you want those, you're gonna have to get me more of what I want."

He froze.

"More? You really want more from me? Are you kidding-"

A new voice interrupted the two, making Joseph freeze up. He didn't know how to feel about him coming into the conversation. Honesty, he really hoped that the boy that just came in had missed the one who had been sitting in his floor for a long while.

"God, Joseph, you really are just a terrible fucking person, huh? Making Naib do shit for you- No. Fuck that. Give him his cigarettes for however long he wants. I'll do what you need from him. Leave him be. Naib... get the fuck out of here."

The brunette felt his blood stop running, as he looked to the floor in a dark corner, to see Aesop's tired and beaten face. He was doing something that didn't look safe at all. He froze up in the doorway, looking. He knew Aesop was sort of tied with Joseph somehow, but never thought it was to that extent. Naib was terrified of the hunter, but here Aesop was, doing this shit.

"Are you su-"

"Get the fuck out."

And with that, Naib left, shutting the door with a light slam behind him.

As soon as it was closed, Joseph shot up, quickly walking up to the boy that was sitting in the floor. He didn't care. He just watched, as the other bent down and pulled him up by the front of his shirt. It should've been painful, but he was already to numb to care.

He just smiled gently, wrapping his arms lazily around Joseph's neck and melting his own body into the taller man's. Joseph grabbed his waist so he wouldn't fall down, but quickly threw him off and pinned him to the floor. Aesop just giggled.

Everything was so fuzzy. He just couldn't help it.

"Do you know what you just did?! That was fucking stupid!"

"Haha... you're funny."

"it's not fucking funny!"

Aesop just rolled his eyes.

"Whatever..."

The footsteps running up the stairs was enough to get Eli's attention. He was in a rather good mood, and really didn't think anyone would run up them like that, so he quickly sat his book down and exited his room to see what was going on.

When Naib's red face appeared at the top of the stairs, obviously distressed and out of breath, Eli ran forward, going over to help.

"What happened?" he panicked, holding the other boy's arm as he steadied himself.

Naib just looked at him with wide eyes.

"Aesop.. he..he's in Joseph's room.. I think he's okay, but I'm just a bit scared because of what had happened bef-"

Naib didn't get to finish, as Eli was already booking it down the stairs.

"Eli, wait!" he yelled, before sighing and running after the boy in fear.

They both approached Joseph's door downstairs, but Eli didn't knock. He threw it open, right at the perfect moment.

Joseph was standing beside Aesop, who was sitting on the floor, looking up at him. His nose was bleeding, and he looked totally out of his mind, eyes bright red.

Joseph looked over at the loud sound of his door opening, glaring at the two boys in disgust.

"Get the fuck out."

"Give him to me."

Joseph watched, his face feeling hot with anger. He knew that he would have to punish all the survivors for this shit.

"Take your little angel. He's far too broken to go back to heaven anyways."
