Trevor Jackson ~ Good Dad ~

"Dada!! Dada!!!" My ten month old baby girl whined in my arms.

"Aww it's okay baby. Daddy's gonna be home soon"

She continued her blaring cry and I didn't know what to do anymore.

Her father was currently wrapping up one of his shows. I waited until I knew it was over to call him.

"Yo?" he answered.

"This little girl keeps crying and screaming your name. I don't know what to do anymore , she's been doing it for hours."

"Alright I'm on my way."

"Good and bring me back some...Popeyes."

"I'll think about it."

"Boy you better get me my food or I'm locking you out the house."

"You lock me out and you'll have to deal with Cici's whining all night. All alone."

"Bye Trevor." I said quickly hanging up knowing he was right.

1 hour later....

I sigh as I bounce Cierra around trying to get her to calm down. I fed her and she calmed down a little, but then she started up again with her screaming for dada.

"Its okay baby it's okay."

I don't know where this man is or what's taking so long but I'm-

My thoughts are cut off when I hear the alarm, signaling that the door was open.

Trevor threw his keys onto the counter and took his sweet time coming up the steps.

"Hey I got your food but they said they ran out of Sprite so I got you lemonade."

I snatched the bag out of his hand and said  "What took you so long?"

"Had to run an errand."

"What kind of errand?"

Nothing." He said while taking Cici from my arms.

I furrowed my eyebrows because why can't he just tell me where he was?

"Where did you go."

"Nowhere now stop worrying about it."

"Trevor why can't you just answer my question."

"I wen-"

"No shut up I just asked you one simple question and you keep avoiding it. I just wanna know where you were and who you were with. Were you with somebody. Was it another woman."

"Just listen to me please."

"SO YOU WERE WITH ANOTHER WOMAN?"

"No babe let me explain I went-"

"Just get out Trevor I can't believe you. Why would you do something like that. You have a girlfriend and baby here, who has been screaming your name all night might I add. And you go out to be with another woman. Trifling as hell. I called you and you probably heard Cici screaming in the background AND YOU STILL DECIDED TO GO HE WITH ANOTHER WOMAN?"

"What the f-"

"Get out Trevor."

"I didn't even-"

"GET OUT I SAID?"

He looked at me crazy before raising his free hand and walking out with Cici who was now calmly laying on his shoulder.

I sat in our bedroom and quietly ate my Popeyes with a bunch of thoughts swarming my head.

I got on my phone for an hour letting Cici and Trevor have their well needed daddy daughter time.

After I got bored from that I decided to take a long hot shower.

Once I got out and dried off my body and hair, I dressed myself in a tank top and black tights.

I went to look around the gigantic mansion for Cici and her daddy.

I looked in her bedroom not finding them. I looked in all of the rooms upstairs not finding them there either.

I then decided to head downstairs where I saw them in the living room.

Cici's back was to his chest while she watched a movie with him.

I then noticed that he was feeding her some baby snacks which I'd never seen before.

"Hey." He said dryly.

I did a slight wave.

"Can we talk?" He sighed while asking.

"I guess."

He placed Cici down onto the couch and put pillows around her.

He grabbed my hand and led me into the kitchen.

"Sit down."

I sat at one of the stools ready for what he had to say.

"I didn't go and see another woman. Wh-"

"I don't wanna hear it Trevor."

"I'm talking."

"And?"

"And your disrespectful ass is gonna listen." He said calmly.

"I don't know why you would think that I would go out to be with another woman. I already have a more than perfect one right here at home who game me the most beautiful daughter ever."

"Then why wouldn't you tell me where you where?"

"I tried and you wouldn't listen. You just kept screaming and accusing me of being with someone else. Also stating that you hated me."

"I wasn't screaming."

"You were. And every time I tried to talk to you, you would cut me off. I know you're probably tired and cranky cause you've barely slept and had any time to yourself cause you had to deal with Cici's whining all day. But you could've just told me that. You don't have to take your anger out on me. Just talk to me baby."

"I'm sorry."

"I know and I love you so much baby." He said coming over and pulling me into a tight hug.

"I love you too."

He kissed me on my forehead.

I didn't wanna ruin the moment, but my mouth failed me when it opened and I said "So what took you so long to get home."

"After I got your food I had to get something else."

"What was it."

"It was those little puffs that you saw me giving to Cici."

"It took you damn near an hour to get some damn puffs Trevor?"

"No first I wen to Walmart and I didn't realize how late it was. They were closed. So then I went to Target and I wasted all my time walking all the way to the baby section which was in the back. They didn't even have them. So then I went to Whole Foods and they had one container left so I got them. Then I got your Popeyes."

"Awww baby I'm sorry." I said while hugging his torso.

"You were just trying to be a good dad and here I am screaming and accusing you of cheating and being with someone else."

"I only ran around looking for them cause she likes when I feed them to her. She'll occasionally feed them to me as a reward for kissing her on the cheek."

"You're such good dad Trevor. I love you."

"I love you too." He said while leaning down to capture my lips into a sweet kiss.
