Prologue

Author's Note: Lawrence's Signing Day..

Since the beginning of my high school career I went from a dumpy quarterback with a mediocre arm to one of the number one quarterback's in the nation and being the number on recruit on everybody's radar has brought a lot of attention to the southside! Since Jeffrey is in prison, and Madere is in a home I am very fortunate to have not only Angelina helping me but my oldest siblings Sydney, Omar, and Remy stepping in and helping us with this decision. Since this past summer I was drawing the most attention from SCT, Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, Texas, Georgia. ESPN recruiter Sam Douglas even went a step further to say that "I was the best player in terms of consistency and heart in my class but by the end of the season most recruiting experts predicted that I would play for either Michigan or South Carolina due to them schools being my parents favorite school. In a live ESPN telecast on December 17 the high school gym was packed with my family, every student who attended South Greenville to witness history in the making and I couldn't do that without the crew announcing who they were signing with. As it was time for me to decide where I was going I leaned back into my chair and sighed I seen the Michigan hat, right beside the South Carolina hat but when I seen the SCT hat in the middle I looked at the crew then picked it up and the entire crowd started to cheer in an uproar! Now SCT was right down the road so I would be staying home so I could be close to Madere. When they asked why SCT I explained the decision, SCT stood out because the brotherhood represents a family. I've wanted to follow Coach Gillis so the decision was a no brainer! Coach G is a legend in our neighborhood who doesn't get the credit he deserves when it comes to football he is a mastermind so I'm looking forward to learning a lot from him but not only that you see this group of guys we're gonna shake up the ncaa!
