Chapter 11

Mia's POV

I ran to the washroom... Ok atleast I tried to, but the broken leg didn't help.

I called Alyson

‘C’mon pick up the phone.’

After 5 rings she picked up.

Aly knows everything that happened between me and Aaron. She knows about it more than Daniel does.

"Hi Mia" Aly said cheerfully.

"Hey Aly, are you free tomorrow during break?" I asked since we didn't have any classes together during the morning.

"Yeah I am. Is everything ok?"

"Yeah! I just wanted to talk to you about something important, really important."

"About Aaron?"

Damn! How can she read my mind like that?

"Yeah." I said.

"Okay sure thing. Hey, my mom is calling me. I gotta go. See you tomorrow?"

" Yeah, sure. Bye, Aly!" I said cheerfully.

"Bye Mia."

And I hung up.

I walked out of the washroom and stopped when I heard Daniel and Aaron talking.

Daniel's POV

I was standing in the kitchen waiting for Mia and Aaron to comes back, when all of a sudden I heard the front door open and Aaron walked in.

"Oh where's Mia?" He asked.

"She's in the washroom." I replied bluntly.

Before he could reply I asked him

"What did you do that Mia hates you so much now?"

He hesitated for a minute and then replied "Please don't tell her I told you this. I don't want her to remember this again."

"Ok." I said.

"Just a week before Mia told me she loved me, her best friend Lily had told me that she was in love with me since a long time. Mia never knew about this. When Mia confessed to me I didn't want her friendship to be in ruins with Lily because of me, so I told her that I only loved her as a best friend because I didn't want to hurt Lily." Aaron said.

" Sooo, you decided to hurt Mia instead of Lily? Smooth..." I interrupted with a sarcastic tone.

"No. The thing is I never felt anything like that for Lily. When Mia came to meet us for the last time before moving here she saw Lily and me kissing. She thought that I was the one who made the first move and she stopped talking to me after that. I never knew the reason as to why Mia stopped talking to me until Lily told me. I didn't want Mia to stop talking to me so I asked Lily to tell Mia the truth but she said she didn't want to lose her friendship with her. I tried explaining this to Mia but she didn't want to talk to me." He said with a sad look on his face.

After trying to digest everything he just said to me I asked

"So Mia doesn't know that Lily liked you?"

"Nope. Lily never told her, that's why they’re still friends. What Lily did tell to her was that I was all over her and Mia believed her." Aaron said looking at his glass of water.
