It's Complicated

Chapter 7

Mia's POV

Somehow when Aaron was in my house I felt myself tensing up a bit. I don't know whether he noticed the change in me or not.

Five minutes after Aaron left the house, the doorbell rang.

I went to open it.

"Hey Mia." Daniel said as he casually strolled to the kitchen and sat on the counter.

"Hi" I replied with a grin.

I followed him and opened the refrigerator to get something for him to drink.

I took out some juice and poured it to him in a glass.

"Thanks honey." he says as he gulps down the juice in one go.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that" I ask him.

"What?It fits." he says innocently.

"Sure it does." I roll my eyes.

"Ok so let's start." he says enthustically.

"Someone's eager." I tease.

"Let's just get it over with. My mom wont let me go to the party till I finish my work." he says with a pout.

I laugh and ruffle his hair.

"Hey. Not the hair." he protests while fixing his hair.

I laugh again and head upstairs to my room.

I usually feel carefree around Daniel. Something I used to feel before with Aaron.

A few seconds later Daniel comes inside.

"ok let's start." he says with full confidence.

"ok hand over your phone and any other distraction devices." I say with a teacher tone.

"yes maam" he replies and I roll my eyes.

~ After about two hours ~

"Finally." he says as he stretches out his arm and jumps on the bed with me.

"Gosh. You are so heavy, my bed might break." I say.

"I'm not heavy. It's just muscles." he says with a smirk.

"Are they hiding ? Cause I can't see them anywhere." I mock him.

Daniel has a good body I must admit.

Quite a few girls are crazy about him. But he never asks them out. Why?

"I'm waiting for the right one. You know like when I see her my heart beats faster and everything." he had said once.

He gets on top of me pinning me to the bed and starts tickling me.

"No-No-st...op" I say in between giggles.

"Say: 'Daniel is the most hottest guy I've ever met' and then I'll let you go." he says smugly.

"ok ok fine. Daniel is the most hottest guy I've ever met." I say seriously and he ruffles my hair and lets me go.

"That's more like it." he says.

Suddenly I remembered, I need to tell Daniel about Aaron.

"Daniel?" I begin.

"Yeah Mia" he says.

"Remember Aaron? I told you about him right? "

He nods his head.
