"What the fuck?"

"I know... The rumors are changing..." he sighed, exhausted from the council work.

"I just hope my rumor doesn't change... I don't want to hurt any more people." Mizuki said as she sat on the window ledge. The sun was setting and the sky was turning an orange hue.

"Do you have a job tonight?" he asked.

"No. Why?" she replied.

"Want to go to the moon festival? I heard that it's pretty fun." he suggested. She stared at her for a moment. Then she smiled with a nod.

So the two of them were now on their way to the festival. Once they reached the place, Mizuki immediately went to the food stalls and bought dozens of takoyaki.

She went to sit on a bench near the forest.
Teru came to her after buying them drinks.

"Here." he handed her a bottle of water. She thanked him and drank from the bottle.

"What's the point of the moon festival?" she asked.

"They're offering their appreciation to the good spirits of the moon, I think. If you write your wish on a pieace of red paper and hang it on that bamboo tree--" he pointed towards a small garden of bamboo trees, "-- your wish will come true." he explained.

Mizuki hummed in a daze as she thought about what to wish for.

'Maybe I can wish for my rumors to never change...' she thought. But then again, she thought that maybe she was forgetting something.

"I feel like there's something missing..." she said and looked at Teru for some advice. He just smiled and patted her head.

"You'll remember it. Don't worry." he reassured. She just nodded with a smile.

"I suppose."
