Hanako took the chance of Kuro Shi stopping to his advantage and ran. He took Yashiro's hand and bolted while Kou followed close behind.
"There! I see her grave!" Kou yelled as they looked forward. And indeed, there it was. A gravestone with the name Mizuki Kuro. But the grave itself was empty, as there were stairs leading underground.
The trio hurriedly sprinted down the stairs. It wasn't long before they reached a tall wooden door with the symbol of a skull on it. Minamoto pushed it open for it to reveal a traditional japanese-styled bedroom.
The tatami floors creaked as they walked in. The three of them hurriedly looked around the room to find the yorishiro. Since after all, Kuro Shi should be coming after them by now.
The futon was scrambled, indicating that perhaps Mizuki either forgot to make her bed or was too lazy. To the side of the room was a wall full of books. They were all the same except that one particular book. It was a black one while the rest were red.
They all had names on it. The black one had the name of Mizuki, written in kanji. Kou wondered what the books contained.
"Ah! I think this is it!" Yashiro said as she pointed at a black orb with, indeed, a picture of Mizuki And Minamoto. There was also a seal on it.
"No!" a voice came from the stairs as it came at incredible speed at them.
"Yashiro! Hurry!" Hanako yelled as he stood in front of her, shielding her from the shinigami.
And before further harm could be done, Yashiro immediately pulled off the seal and fell into an unconscious state.
