"So I'm supposed to attend these now?" Mizuki monotonely asked as she showed an expression of disinterest.
"You're a school mystery, now. You're supposed to attend our annual meetings." Tsuchigomori said.
"Hmph! I can't believe No. 7 took away my seat number but didn't take hers!!" Yako fumed in her little fox form.
"She doesn't have temper problems like you." Tsuchigomori scoffed. The two bickered on and on, throwing insults at each other.
"It is a bit weird to have another reaper here." Number six commented.
That's right... Number six and I are both reapers... Although our methods of delivering the souls are different... Mizuki thought to herself.
"Aren't you like, a full-time reaper though? I'm just going to be here until I graduate from this school. And then, I'll leave, never to return." she said.
"Then what about your council seat?" the third of the mysteries asked a bit irritatedly. Mizuki glanced at the bird-like creature.
"Who knows? Probably the next Shinigami will inherit it." she shrugged as she leaned back in her seat. "You know anything, Number Five?"
"I'm not to say anything." he muttered. "Don't you have books like mine? You carry one around." he mentioned. Mizuki hummed with a nod.
"Indeed. But my books only have the names and the time of death of the people who are going to die in the next 24 hours. It is constantly changing." she explained. Tsuchigomori hummed in understanding.
"Where is Number Seven anyways?" Mei spoke up. The fourth mystery was doodling in her sketchbook the whole time.
"Sorry, I'm a bit late! I had some things to take care of!" And finally, Hanako was the last to arrive.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Mizuki chuckled.
"Shall we begin the meeting?"
