When Worlds Meet (A Shadowhunters and Harry Potter Crossover)

Harry POV

Almost all summer I've been stuck at the Dursley's without a scrap of news all summer, then finally after a dementor attack getting a letter stating that I'm expelled Mad eye and a few others come and get me and take me to headquarters whatever that is. As soon as I get there Mrs.Weasley wraps in her famous mom hug and sends me upstairs to go see Hermione amd Ron. When I reach the top they immediately hug me and drag me into the room I'll be staying in. I couldn't hold in my anger any longer so I started firing questions at them, "why haven't you written at all?" "What is this place?" Then Hermione takes a sharp breath and starts to explain.

Hermiome POV

As soon as I see Harry I run over and hug him, I know he's gonna ask questions I just hope I can find the right words to answer so I don't anger him further.

Harry POV

After Hermione exlplained things to me I calmed down slightly. Shortly after that we hear Mrs.Weasley call us all down to the kitchen at 12 Grimmuald place. Sitting around the table are people I recognize, Sirius Black my godfather, Remus Lupin one of the DADA professors, both had been best friends with my parents, and Severus Snape and Mad Eye, and a women with pink hair named Tonks, along with all the Weasleys and Dumbledore who looks like he has some information to tell us all. So we all quickly took our seats.

Dumbledore POV

I'm standing at the front waiting for everything to settle down so I can explain about Harry's family and more shocking information, well here it goes, "as some of you remeber James Potter had a twin brother named Nathan who was a exceptional wizard," I see eveyones faces and hold up my hand so I can continue. "As I was saying he was close to Remus and Sirius, he was even friends with Severus. Well after Hogwarts he left to travel the states and he fell in love with a young women by the name of Jemma Van Patten, a short time later they married and Jemma became good friends with all of Nathan's friends. Now as three of you may remeber they had a little girl shortly after marrying her name is Jaime Van Patten Potter. She is two years older than Harry making her 17 years old amd your cousin Harry. Now as some of you know Jemma was not a witch, she was someone who came from much older stronger power she was what is unknown to us a Shadowhunter. Shadowhunters use angelic power that give them demon fighting abilities through the use of runes and weapons Jamie is both a shadowhunter and a witch, when they were younger Harry and Jaime were very close. Now as a few people know, Nathan and his family were there the night Voldemort went to kill Harry. James and Nathan were fighting back against Voldemort while Lily and Jemma went to hid the kids away before joining the fight. When Voledemort went to kill Harry the two women had put up unknown protection around the kids. When the house blew up no trace of James, Lily, Nathan or Jemma were found. Now as you know only Harry was found at the scene that is because Jaime was taken to the shadowworld to be trained in there ways." When I'm done I wait for the questions and take in everyone's expressions.

Remus POV

As I'm listening to Dumbledore I feel many different emotions, anger, happy, sad and more. My goddaughter has been alive all this time when I thought her dead, and Dumbledore kept this information from me. "Can we go and get her so we can teach her how to use her magic?" Then I feel more anger when Dumbledore says he has already gone to talk to her she will be here tomorrow with two of her friends.

Harry POV

What?! That is what I'm thinking right now listening to Dumbledore, I just learned that I had a aunt and uncle and cousin, to top it all off they were there the night my parents died. Thinking back on some dreams I had there were always three other shadow figures that I couldnt make out, and during the dementor attacks a couple years ago I heard different names being shouted and a little girl by my side. I can't wait to meet my cousin tomorrow to see what sje looks like. Finally I know I have other family besides the Dursleys.
