(A/n:  Sorry I forgot to post this yesterday...
This next scene will be changed a lot. Varian's dad is nothing like JD's dad, so I had to rewrite the entire thing. And for the scene after that I used the highschool version. Also skipping Blue/You're Welcome. So yeah, I hope you all are enjoying reading this, and thank you for your love and support!)

A day later, I was hanging out at VD's house. We were watching TV, and trying to find a good show to watch.

"At a time like this, negative people choose to focus on their grief." Kiera was talking on the news channel, "Well, I hate those people, because I am a very positive person. I remember the good times, like when Stalyan and I got our ears pierced at the mall-"

VD changed the channel

Kiera was on this news channel, too.

He changed it again, and once again there was Kiera Duke. This news channel wasn't even in English!

"Alright! Turn it off, turn it off. Man, how many networks does she run to?" I huffed, and VD turned the TV off.

"Son? Are you home?" someone, who I figured was Varian's dad, said, walking in the front door.

"Yeah, Dad. We were just watching TV." VD answered his dad.

"We?" his dad questioned, stepping into the room.

"Dad, this is my girlfriend, (Y/n)."

His dad just nodded.

Wait, so Varian hadn't even told his dad about me???

"Well, would you like to stay for dinner, (Y/n)?"

"N-no, sir. I've got to get home..." I said, standing up from the couch, where I had been chilling with VD. Varian stood up too, and I grabbed my bag, "My mom is making my favorite meal tonight. It's spaghetti. Lots of oregano."

VD looked down, sadly, and muttered something.

"Nice. Last time I saw my mom, she was waving to me outside a window of a library in Varados."

"Varian, I couldn't have known..."

Well, this was awkward...

"Okay. Well, see ya tomorrow..." I said awkwardly, then left. I wanted to give VD a quick kiss on his cheek, but since the tension was so thick, I decided against it.

Later that day, as I was writing in my diary on my bed, I got a call.

"Hello?" I answered the phone.

"(Y/n)? I need help. I'm at," there was a pause, "Lehman's Farm."

It was Catalina.

"Okay, I'll be there as soon as possible." I said, and she hung up the phone. I quickly got a bus ride to the farm.

When I got there, I saw Catalina and Kiera leaned up against a car. I ran over to them.

"What are you doing in the middle of a cow pasture?" I questioned.

"We're stranded..." Kiera deadpanned.

"Well, we were on our way to the cemetery. Me, Lance, Eugene, and Kiera were going out to pour some bottles of coke on Stalyan's grave. You know, from her homies." Catalina said, throwing up some awkward peace signs.

"But then Eugene and Lance drank it all, and got hyper, and pulled the car into this pasture, and refused to give up the keys." Kiera finished the story. I looked around for the aforementioned boys, but didn't see them.

"There's nothing out here but..." I trailed off, then heard someone shouting.

"OKAY, MAN! PUT YOUR BACK INTO IT!"

I could tell it was Eugene. I looked towards the noise, and saw Lance and Eugene standing with their hands on the side of a cow.

"COUNT OF THREE!"

"What are they doing...?" I asked the two girls.

"What does it look like they're doing?" Kiera remarked, not answering my question. I rolled my eyes.

"ONE, TWO, THREE!" the boys shouted, then pushed the cow over, causing it to moo.

"So immature..." Kiera facepalmed.

"Look at it lying there! It wants to get up, but it cant!" Lance laughed.

"Man, it's so-"

"Stupid!" Lance finished Eugene's sentence.

"Look, if you guys needed a ride, you should have told me on the phone. I took the bus here." I sighed.

"Of course you did." Kiera said, a bit snarkily.

"It's okay (Y/n), we made a deal with the guys." Catalina smiled, sweetly.

"A deal? What kind of deal?" I asked.

"Well, Lance said if we got you to show up here, Kiera and I could go home, and he'd give us the car keys." she replied.

"Why would they want me here?"

"Oh, come on, (Y/n), I've seen you're looking at Lance. You think he's cute, right~?"

"No!" I answered honestly.

"And Eugene! Also very cute~" Catalina continued.

"Goodness, (Y/n), do you need a map and a friendly Indian guide? Guys only want one thing." Kiera said.

"Hello, Ladies~" Lance smirked as he and Eugene walked over to us.

"The cows are down for the count and the ladies are up for grabs." Eugene finger-gunned.

"(Y/n)'s here so we're leaving! Car keys, now." Kiera commanded, sticking her hand out.

"A deal's, a deal." Catalina nodded.

"Wait, wait, wait," I said, "Don't just... leave me here with them!"

"Have fun!" Catalina waved, getting in the car.

"Don't do anything we wouldn't do!" Kiera said, getting into the car, and driving away.

Welp, this couldn't get any worse.
I'm stuck in a cow pasture with Eugene and Lance...
Fun...

Dear diary,
Could this day get any worse...

"Hey, (Y/n)~"

I turned my head to see Lance and Eugene stalking over to me. I tried to walk away, but Eugene grabbed my arm.

"Come on, we just want to cuddle for a bit!" he wined.

"Yeah!" Lance agreed eagerly.

"Uh, no offence, but I'd rather not..." I said, trying to pull my arm away.

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeee???" they both wined, giving me puppy eyes. It wasn't going to work.

But then again, I don't think I'm going to get away from them very easily...

Idea, ding, ding, ding!!!

"You know what? I actually do want to hug and cuddle and what-not!" I said, internally cringing.

"Really?!" they both smiled.

"Yep..." I said, stepping closer to them. I put my hand on Eugene's chest, and put the tiniest bit of pressure on him, causing him take a step back. Just where I needed him.

I then used a move I had learned in a self-defense class, and swept my leg behind, and into his, causing him to fall back onto Lance, knocking them both over, and into a pile of brown stuff. As I walked away, I heard their reaction.

"Ew! Mud!"

"Eugene, I don't think this is mud..."

"AHHHHHHH!!!"

I smirked, as the sounds of their disgust faded in the distance.
