Paris Mitchell's POV.
"Wake up, love." I heard someone whisper in my ear.
"No." I mumbled and turned to hug the pillow beside me. This is why I love this pillow. Warm and soft but firm at the same time. I don't even know why I'm describing a pillow as if it's a treasure. I guess that's what it is right now. I so don't want to wake up yet.
"Come on, now. You have a visitor." Ian whispered against my ear. I gave a small smile because of the ticklish feeling and I snuggled closer to my pillow.
I felt the pillow shake and I slowly opened my eyes.
Totally not a pillow.
Ian was chuckling and I quickly pulled away. What I thought was a pillow was actually surprise surprise.
Ian.
"Aww. Don't hide it, Paris. We all know you love me." Ian grinned while sitting up beside me.
I scowled. "Right."
I keep on squinting and closing my eyes because of the sudden brightness in my vision but regained it nonetheless. "What do you want?"
"Aren't you listening?" he rolled his eyes. "You have a visitor. Now go on and get ready."
I sighed reluctantly and went to the bathroom to fix myself. Gosh, I faced a boy looking like this? I thought while I looked at the mirror. Aphrodite will be ashamed.
I sighed again and started to take a bath. After changing, I went out of the comfort room to see Ian staring at the wall. "I see you're developing a new crush with a pale blue wallpaper. Nice type." I snorted.
"Shut up." He said as he sobered up and looked at me. "Let's go. Someone you like is waiting for you downstairs."
"Someone I like? Who?" I said. He opened the door for me and we went downstairs together.
"You just wait." He smirked.
∆∆
"You sick bastard." I sneered as I saw who was 'waiting for me.'
"You love me." Ian winked and I scowled once again.
Shane saw us and came over to hug me. "Thank you so much! You are the best!"
I awkwardly patted his back and smiled. "I know right."
"Thanks for inviting Rachel. Come on let's eat breakfast." He said as he let go of me.
I shared a look with Ian and he just shrugged. Great. I have to endure yet another day with my favorite person. Not.
"So why are you guys here?" Rachel asked as we began eating breakfast.
"Oh you know, to — " Jade started with a scowl. See? Even my best friend hates her. Scratch that. Everyone hates her.
Oh right. Except Shane.
"To bond this summer." Shane interrupted with a huge smile. "Especially now that we're going to go to different universities."
So he's going to lie just to get the girl?
We all exchanged sly smiles. Communicating with our eyes, we all understood one thing. We're going to make this breakfast as uncomfortable and awkward for Shane.
Let the games begin.
"Nice save, Shane." Charlie commented with a devious grin. "I mean, shave. Nice shave, man. Clean face, love it."
