"Morgana, i would never join you," Merlin added with full confidence "You can do to whatever you want. You can tell them everything for all i care but know this, i would never betray Camelot or Arthur,"

"FINE," Morgana shouted

Her magic raged so much that once her anger was out by shouting, an invisible force threw him back hitting his body and all to the wall harshly. Knights and Arthur looked dumbstruck and shocked at this, Mordred let out an audible gasp controlling not to go and help his friend, Arthur on the other hand was trying to pry the shackles off but he couldn't since it was magic bound. Morgana huffed as she exited the cell and Arthur gave Mordred a disgusted look before he exited as well, guilt building up deep in his stomach

All the knights could to was wait for their friend to regain conscious and hope that he will be alright. It had been a few hours but Merlin still hadn't woken up, Arthur couldn't wait to be free and kill Morgana with his bare hands for hurting Merlin like that. But even after that, all were beyond confused. None could get the two warlocks' conversation out of their heads

"Is it just me or do you guys smell something fishy as well?" Elyan confronted

"Don't be Gwaine," Percival joked

"But I agree with Elyan," Leon agreed "What did Merlin mean when he said that you can tell them everything? What is everything?"

Arthur checked again if Merlin was unconscious before answering Leon's question

"I think she was talking about his magic," Arthur muttered "Because Merlin doesn't know that we saw him,"

"Makes sense," Leon nodded and the others agreed

"Arthur what will you do with him once we have Camelot back?" Leona asked hesitantly

There was a silence for a few seconds, everyone looked at Arthur, ready to defend the warlock at all costs. Arthur thought for a moment, would he really execute Merlin? Would he really willing to hurt him? The answer was simple

"No," Arthur said "Never. I am not like my father,"

Everyone released out breaths they didn't realise they were holding in and their tense posture was once again as calm as one could get while being chained to wall. Arthur gazed at Merlin's unconscious body, waiting for the young man to get up and give his cheerful smile. He noticed how peaceful Merlin looked and at the same time so vulnerable. Arthur couldn't imagine Merlin hurting another without a purpose or right cause

Dusk was right around the corner when they heard the clatter of boots again and they were anxious sitting back up against the walls ready for whoever was gonna come through. Mordred showed his face through as he opened the cell with a large tray. Arthur hissed at him as he gave him a bow

"Sire, did you really think that i would leave you in a situation like this?" Mordred asked him "Betray you? Betray Camelot?"

Arthur looked at him warily, looking for lies or uncertainty still not believing him a little though something told him deep in his had that, Mordred was telling the truth

"How do i know that you aren't bluffing?" Arthur questioned

"If i wanted to do something my lord, i would have done it," Mordred accounted "I had many chances,"

Arthur gave him a nod as the other's smiled warily. Mordred removed the cloth from the tray to reveal some bread and meat. They split the food into rations leaving some for when Merlin awakes and dug into their food. Mordred went to see Merlin, he pressed his palm to the warlock's forehead, made sure that no one paid attention and muttered the words of the old religion. Merlin gasped as he awoke startling the rest of the group, their food forgotten
