"Yes, Vika, but you can't ever tell anyone about us. They will think you are crazy and try to lock you away."

Less than five seconds later my little sister attack hugged me and we both cried.

"Dimka, you're crying." She sounded awed.

"I know."

"But strigoi don't cry."

"Like I said, Roza and I are a different type of strigoi."

She crushed me into another hug. "I've missed you so much, Dimka."

"I've missed you too, Vika."

After she finished hugging me, she turned to look at lyubov' moya. But the look on her face was one of sorrow. (my love)

"I'm so sorry Roza I am so so sorry." She sobbed as she looked at lyubov' moya. (my love)

"I should never have yelled at you, I should never have called you a liar, a slut and a blood whore. I should never have said that you weren't a part of this family and I should NEVER ever have said that you don't love my brother."

"Victoria!!" My mother, babushka and I all reprimanded.

But she ignored us all as she stepped closer to Roza.

"I am so sorry Roza, I am sooo sorry." She sobbed.

Roza closed the distance between them and took my little sister into her arms.

"It's ok Vik, it's ok, I understand. You were hurt about losing your brother. And then when I got Abe to make sure that that lying little scumbag Roland stayed away from you. All you could see was that someone else had left you, and that I was the common denominator in both. I understand that. But I only did what I knew was best for you, what I knew that Mitya would do. Roland was in no way the person that you thought that he was.  Very few moroi are. When you went to get a drink, he even tried to seduce me. Telling me that there was more than enough of him for the both of us. And I knew that if you were around him for much longer that he would have talked you into sleeping with him. And eventually he would have gotten you pregnant too and then he would have left you as well. That's what most of those disgusting moroi men do. They don't care about anyone or anything except for themselves and what they want."

"Gotten me pregnant too? Would have left me as well? What do you mean Roza?"

Roza looked scared to death when she realized what she had just said.

"I'm sorry Vik, I... I can't tell you; I made a promise to someone. I gave my word that I would never tell anyone."

"It's all right Roza, I understand. When you give your word to someone you have to keep it."

"Yes, I do." My poor Roza, she looked so torn.

"I'm so sorry Roza, I shouldn't have asked. Can you ever forgive me for that and for the things that I said to you that night, as well as the way I acted?"

"Of course, I forgive you little sister."

Lyubov' moya and my baby sister stood there crying together for a long while. But at least forgiveness had been given and received. Both with love. (my love)

After Roza and Vika had returned to their seats, my mother turned back to me.

"I don't want to be rude or anything, but what made you take the risk of coming here?" She asked both Roza and I.
