SO SORRY THAT I AM UPDATING SO LATE IN THE DAY YOU GUYS, I JUST WASN'T FEELING MY BEST. ONCE AGAIN I AM SORRY THAT YOU HAD TO WAIT SO LONG FOR THIS UPDATE, I REALLY HOPE THAT YOU ENJOY IT. THIS IS SORT OF A LONGER CHAPTER WITH OVER 3800 WORDS.

I very quickly noticed that he had not mentioned killing either Eddie or Christian just for the fun of it. But before either Rose or Dimitri could respond further the moroi man with them lay a hand on both of their shoulders. He had been watching this whole exchange with great interest and amusement. He was very entertained by our entire interaction it seemed.

"Please, by all means, allow me." He said as he looked between Rose and Dimitri.

When they nodded, over a dozen guardians appeared out of nowhere and surrounded the trio and dog. Which shocked me because I hadn't even seen any of them. And neither had anyone else if the other gasps that I heard all around me were anything to go by.

One of the guardians was holding Venus. So, I had actually seen her and the man who was standing right next to her, just not in the last several minutes.

"Janine, you do not get to speak to MY daughter or MY son in law in that way. We have already had this discussion when I called to let you know that Rose had been awakened by Dimitri. And that she was finally at long last happy, for the very first time in her entire life, no thanks to you of course. And don't forget that you lost any and all rights that you may have had to interact with my family several years ago." The moroi man reminded Rose's biological mother, of their apparent phone call and the fact that she had no say in anything that concerned Rose, with a growl.

It seems like just as many people like Janine as they do Tasha. Well, thinking about it, Tasha at least has Christian that could stand the sight of her. I just don't see how. Which is more than can be said for Janine. Given the fact that her own biological child can't stand the freaking sight of her, which I don't blame Rose for, not at all.

"You have hurt, ignored and mistreated my daughter all of her life. And it is past time that that came to a screeching halt. And if need be it will come to a quick and very violent stop. Just as will your life. You took her from me and ran, hiding her from me and never letting me know where she was, how she was, if I'd had a son or a daughter. You just ran away from my villa in Tuscany. Just as soon as you found out that you were pregnant and for almost twenty lanet years I had no information about her at all." He growled at her even louder and more menacingly that time. (fucking)

If he has a villa in Tuscany then he has to be just as rich as the royals. Hell he could even be a royal for all I know. And if he is that wealthy then he probably started a trust fund for Rose when he found out that Janine was pregnant with her. Which could very well be where she is getting all of that money that they have been spending so freely all day. And how they can afford more than one jet, yacht, condo, estate, cars et cetera et cetera et cetera. Along with all of that jewelry and watches that they bought today, not to mention the very expensive designer clothes and shoes that they are both wearing. Well, shoes for him and boots for her.

It seemed that regardless of whoever this man is. He is definitely one man that you did not want to get on the bad side of. Ever. Just like Rose and apparently Dimitri is as well. Especially now. Of course, you never really wanted to get on the bad side of Rose Hathaway. Because eventually, in some way, you would come to regret it. Most of the time painfully so.

But I had never seen this side of Dimitri when we were at the academy. But back then both he and Rose had to hide pretty much everything about themselves from everyone except for each other, but not so much anymore. Plus, he is protecting the love of his life, his wife. That was yet something else that shocked me, strigoi that marry I mean.
