Today there was yet another council meeting. But this one was apparently mandatory attendance for all the royals over eighteen that are at court.

Christian, Adrian and I had even discussed taking another trip, for a few days, just so that we wouldn't have to attend. But in the end, it had been made abundantly clear to both Adrian and me that we both had to be there. Me, if I ever wanted to be able to take my family's seat on the council. And Adrian because his aunt, our queen, said so.

So here we sat, only an hour after we'd had breakfast, waiting for the queen and those snobs on the council to finally make their appearance.

An hour and a half later, and we still hadn't figured out why we just had to be at this particular meeting. The council was arguing over some of the very same issues that they argued about each and every week. And I was getting bored and tired already, so I knew that Christian and Adrian were just dying to get the hell out of here.

"As a royal I demand to be heard!" Tasha stood up and shouted out of nowhere.

"What is the reason for you interrupting this council meeting Lady Ozera?" Came the voice of Rufus Taurus.

"I have some information that I know will be of interest to not only the council but to our entire world as a whole."

What is she talking about? What information could she possible hav... oh no. She better not be about to do what I think she is.

I turned to my fiancé Christian. "Please tell me, that she is not about to do what I'm afraid that she is."

"I'm sorry Liss, I don't know what is going on. You know that she has been acting even more weird, strange, and obsessed since we got back to court."

I sighed because he was right, she had been acting worse and worse with every passing day since we had returned from France. And the insults, derogatory comments, and the way that she spoke about Rose was just getting worse as the days wore on. Honestly, I was about just one more insult away from barring her from our house for good.

She had even been stupid enough to accuse Rose of putting Dimitri under some kind of spell. She'd even gone so far as to say that that would be the only reason that Dimitri would have ever chosen Rose over her. Both of which was just ridiculous and completely ludicrous ideas.

Christian and I had both had to ask her to leave our home on more than one occasion because of the things she had been saying about Rose. When she just kept on about how Rose was nothing but a bitch, a slut, and a blood whore and that she had slept with every male that had ever been on St. Vladimir Academy's campus. And then idiotically saying that Rose had to be a witch or had to have paid someone to put a spell on Dimitri. Making him believe that he loved and desired Rose instead of Tasha.

Dimitri had been right; Tasha is totally and completely delusional, she is out of her mother fucking mind.

"What kind of information could you possibly have that could be of any use or interest to any of us?"

I watched as Tasha walked over to the stairs, down them and over to where she was soon standing center stage on the dais. Which was her first mistake, since she was standing right in front of Queen Tatiana. Something that she should have known wasn't going to work out for the best for her.

"Something previously unknown about the strigoi."

"How could you possible know anything about strigoi that we don't already know? Unless you are associating with them." Lord Rufus Taurus sneered.

I couldn't do or say anything, without lending credence or support to Tasha's words. So, I just sat there, holding onto Christian's hand, in desperate fear of her next words.
