We all gasped again.
"But they couldn't get through the wards." Christian said sounding as though he were confident in that conclusion.
Rose, Dimitri and Rose's father all smiled.
"Actually, Lord Ozera, the wards don't affect them any more than charmed silver does anymore."
"How is that even possible?" Janine asked, her voice filled with just as much frustration as Christian's had been with confidence.
"Yet another thing that is none of your business!" He sneered at Janine.
Boy he doesn't like Janine at all either. But then if she had taken my child, like she did his, and hidden her away and neglected and abused her for the better part of twenty years. I would hate her guts too. So, I really don't blame him for how he feels towards Janine Hathaway. Honestly, I didn't blame any of the three of them for how they all sooo obviously feel towards Janine, most of the rest of us, and the moroi world as a whole either. Not after everything that they have been through, put up with, and dealt with on a day to day basis.
"Now, as I was about to say. I warn you, if or when you come face to face with another strigoi in the future. Do not ever assume that they are like Rose and Dimitri. Assume that they are the strigoi that you are used to dealing with, it's much safer for you and your charge that way. Although I very seriously doubt that you will ever come into contact with others like Rose and Dimitri in your lifetimes. Because most of the others, like them, stay very well hidden. Especially since none of them can walk in the sun and don't have access to magic of their own."
I guess that the others, like Rose and Dimitri, staying hidden would make sense.
"Dimka..."
Dimitri growled loudly and fiercely at Tasha, even going so far as to snarl up his lip at her.
"If you yeblya call me that just one more yeblya time. Then I will quite happily help my wife drain your disgustingly pathetic scar faced zhopa dry!!" (fucking, fucking, ass)
I watched as Rose leaned deeper into Dimitri's embrace before she turned her head and looked into his eyes.
"Should I?"
He laughed.
"Feel free my precious precious lyubov'." He said just before kissing her neck several times and making her moan, move her body against his own in pleasure and smile at him radiantly. The way she moved against him reminded me of a cat that would arch its back in enjoyment of the attention of someone they loved. (love)
Rose lifted her hand into the air and pointed her index finger right at Tasha. Then she drug that finger cross ways in the air a couple of inches. And when she did Tasha started groaning, whimpering, and gasping in pain. Her hand flew up to her cheek as she cried.
I could see blood start to run out from between her fingers and out from under her hand and down her arm as Rose and Dimitri smiled and laughed.
Tasha's face was bleeding quite a bit as Christian checked on her.
