"Yes, but we will only be able to have a child every twenty-five years or so. That way we can keep our numbers relatively low. And only the strigoi like us, who's true soul mate has awakened them and they mated and then married, can have children like us. So, it doesn't happen very often. Even among our kind it is still quite rare."

"Wow. Well, when I have a niece or nephew on the way you be sure to let me know somehow. Ok?"

She smiled. "I will, I promise. But it will be several years from now, because Mitya and I want to spend at least our first quarter of a century just being together. And then, sometime after that we will start our own family together."

"Thank you so much. I can understand that you want to spend some time with it just being the two of you, I would feel the same way I imagine."

"You are welcome Ed-O. And please, don't let any of them reveal any of our secrets if you can help or prevent it Eddie. Because it will only endanger all of you."

"I will do my best Rosie."

She lightly, so as not to hurt me, punched me in the stomach with a laugh. And with her being a strigoi now, considering how much stronger strigoi are than we dhampir, she could have hurt me very easily. Which is why she had been sooo careful.

"If they do run their mouths off, then you please get Mia and her dad, and you get all of you the hell away from the entire moroi world just as soon as possibly can."

"How... how did you know about me and Mia?"

"I've known you since we were very young children Eddie, so I have known about the two of you since Spokane Ed-O. You are not as good at hiding your feelings as you seem to think that you are, at least not from me." She shrugged at me with her signature smile.

"Where should we go if it happens?"

"Come to Russia, St. Petersburg to be precise. Go to Gregson's leather shop and tell Veniamin that I told you to come there if you ever got into trouble or needed me in any way. And for him to call me, tell him 'Duckie' and I will know that it is really you and that you are in trouble."

"Ok."

"Also, if you need someone to talk too about all of this. Call Alberta, she knows what's going on, she was even at our wedding. She's my mom, but you can't tell anyone any of that either."

I gasped. "Really?!!"

"Yes."

"Thanks, I may call her sometime. I wish that I could have been at your wedding too."

"Thanks, I wish that you and Mia could have both been there. Maybe we will do a vow renewal ceremony someday and you and Mia can both be there. But until then, ask my mom to send you a copy of it. Baba had someone record it and give her a copy of it."

"I hope so, and yes I will definitely be doing that soon."

"For your own safety, I need to compel you so that no one can get any of this information, that I just shared with you, out of you. Are you ok with that?"

"Yes. If it will help keep you, my future nieces, nephews and Belikov all safe. Then yes, I am."

We locked eyes and shared a smile, just like the old friends that we are.

"Eddie, you can never reveal any of the information that I just gave you to anyone other than Mia and Alberta, no matter what anyone else says or does. You can never reveal anything that you have found out about us today to anyone, again other than Mia and Alberta. But if the time ever comes that you need to get away from the moroi world, then you will remember where you need to go and what you need to do. Do you understand?"
