"So, I've been seeing this new girl, her name is Hannah. She is a waitress at Hooters." Wren said as he took a sip of his beer. "And let me guess, you met her at Hooters?" I asked him and he looked at me and rolled his eyes.
"I did, and so what?"
"Jesus Wren, you would think for a gangsters son, you would be more smart about the girls you date. I mean for fuck's sake, she has men looking at her all day, and I bet each night she takes the best looking one into the bathrooms at the end of the night and blows them." I joked.
Wren chuckled nervously. "Oh come on!" I yelled.
"I will admit, she was quite good, and I've had some pretty good contenders," Wren admitted.
"I bet you have."
"When do you plan to go out with her next?" I asked him. "Tonight actually, she wanted me to come and pick her up after her shift, and I told her that we could go and see a movie."
"You mean right after she finishes blowing her boss?"
Wren glared at me.
"Anyways, since my love life is a total joke to you, how is yours going?" Wren asked.
"Okay, I haven't really met any assholes, or even Mr.Perfects yet. People are just so bland in the world. Nobody is good enough. I mean I like you and all, but you really aren't my type, especially not after finding out we are like mortal enemies."
Wren looked at me and sighed. "I wish we didn't have to hide away in my apartment just because our families hate each other. I know they don't get along, but we do! Why can't they just learn to get along for our sake?" Wren complained.
"Well, we can't tell them now. We've been sleeping together for 1 month. They'd kill us! I mean literally kill us! Then my father would be after you, and if he did end up getting his hands on you, he'd kill you too. Which is what I don't want, so it's better if we just keep this on the down-low, at least for now."
"I guess, but does your dad suspect anything? I mean you're over here all the time. I'm not saying I don't enjoy your presence, but I don't want him following you and finding out that you are going to his greatest enemy's son's apartment to fuck him. It might not be the best way to tell them. Actually probably one of the worst ways." Wren asked.
"Actually the worst way to tell them is if I got pregnant, and then we'd have to explain to them how it happened and why. But no, my dad doesn't care. He gave up on me a long time ago. I don't even like him, and he gives me the feeling that he doesn't like me either. But also, he's gone from the house for the next week." I said.
"Hold the fuck on, you are saying that your house is empty?! Why the fuck are we here? We could be at your place and doing other shit!" Wren said jumping up from the couch. "Calm down, we can't go to my house, there are guards. And they'd instantly recognize you as soon as they see you enter the house. There are also cameras that could easily catch us at any time."
Wren sighed and threw himself back onto the couch."This sucks!" Wren yelled. "We could go on a double date?" I said.
"Like with me and Hannah?" Wren asked and I nodded. "I thought you didn't have any contenders?" Wren said mocking me.
I instantly flipped him off before answering. "I did, but I didn't say I wasn't going on any dates. I know this guy and I think he'd be up for it. As long as I make him a deal." I said.
"Like sleep with him after?" Wren asked, even though he already knew my answer.
"Yeah," I said in a low voice.
