Chapter 4

5 Hours Later

I laid in the bed looking out of the window thinking of what Meredith was doing at this moment. My guess is that she went back to her boyfriend.

Begging his forgiveness for walking away. And of course, they are going to get back together. I just wish she would break up with him. He is a horrible person. He doesn't love her, but she loves him.

I just wish she would also get some common fucking sense. She lets Hunter run all over her.

Maybe I can do something to fix that...

"Beverly." I heard Landon say. I turn to face him as he laid in bed next to me.

"Yeah?"

"I have to go, my girlfriend is texting me wondering where I am at, and why I'm not answering my phone," Landon said as he stood up from the bed and started to put his clothes back on.

I nodded. "Want to do this another time?" he asked me.

My answer once again proved I am a shitty person.

"Yeah, just give me a call when you are free, and we can meet up here again," I told him.

Landon nodded before grabbing his phone and leaving. I laid back in the bed and I sighed.

I did need to make things with Meredith better, I was a bitch to even say those things to her, even if they are true.

I grabbed my phone to text Meredith...

Beverly: Hey Meredith. I just wanted to apologize. I was having a bad day, and I had no right to say those things to you. Please call me or text me back

I placed my phone back down and got out of the bed.

I grabbed my clothes and got dressed before I left.

As I was walking to my car, my phone started going off, it was Meredith, she was calling me.

I pressed the green answer button and put the phone up to my ear.

Beverly: Hey Meredith

Meredith: Hey Bev, you said you wanted me to call you?

Beverly: Yes, I wanted to talk to you, maybe in person?

Meredith: Um, I'm a little busy at the moment

Beverly: Don't tell me you are at Hunters.

Meredith: I'm sorry Beverly, he just means so much to me and I love him so much, I really wan tot be with him. I told him I forgive him! And he said he won't do it again.

Beverly: I'm so fucking disappointed in you! First, you once again chose him over me! Then you go running back to him after he cheated om you! Multiple times Meredith! He doesn't love you! Get that through your fucking head!

Meredith: You don't have to be such a fucking bitch Beverly, you truly have no right to talk! You sleep around all the time! And don't think I don't know that you slept with a guy that had a girlfriend.

She was talking about Hunter, but she didn't know it was Hunter. I just told her in general that it had happened.

Beverly: You know that was an accident! And you're a fucking bitch for even bringing that up! You are a shitty friend Meredith! Enjoy your boyfriend, cause I sure as hell didn't!

I hung up the phone and got into my car angrily. I can't believe I just told her the truth. I wonder if she is even going to believe me. Hunter could lie too.
